Wonderful tour

We took the train to visit some beautiful small mountain villages not too far from Nice, beautiful sceneries along the ride. We visited the villages by bus or mini van. Each village had a lot of history, churches and chapels were interesting as well. “Sofia” did a great job in explaining the history and shared information on each spot and a lot of nice stories and some fun facts, she was really friendly and informative a wonderful guide. A tour worth taking if you enjoy nature and some history of the region.

Love this trip

This is a great trip! Our guide Isa was amazing- very friendly. She gave us her cell number to contact for questions which wasn’t needed- but appreciated! She goes out of her way to provide recommendations and a comfortable experience. She also encouraged everyone to switch seats each time we got back in the van- which was great so we weren’t stuck in the back row the whole time! I was afraid the day would feel rushed, but definitely not! I feel like it was the perfect amount of time at each location and it was nice to stop briefly at the look out point for pictures too. All in all a great trip

The Guide Makes The Tour!

Thank you to Azur Wine Tours and our terrific guide Ghislaine (Gigi) . What a delight! The confirmation message referred to Gigi as a "passion wine expert" which could not have been more accurate. On previous wine tours, I have experienced a driver that then hands the group off to the vineyard representative. In this case, Gigi was not only our informative driver, but also our guide at each of the three stunning vineyards, explaining each tasting pour. This made for a very consistent flow throughout the eight hour day. The pre-pick up message was clear, specific, and all I needed for an easy pick up and drop off. Gigi was not only a superb guide, but also a very safe and responsible driver of the comfortable van. A terrific day of exploration.

Foodie Must-do in Nice

Mom and I had such a fun time on our tour tasting all of Nice’s specialties! Leo was friendly and knew a lot about the area. My favorite food was the pan bagnat (sandwich) and Tourtte de blette sucré (with a surprisingly good sneaky ingredient)! The pace was easy and there were lots of breaks but we walked about 5,000 steps during the tour, so wear walking shoes.

What a fun way to see the...

What a fun way to see the Nice city and coast highlights when we were there for such a short period of time. We made a mistake and arrived a day early to the planned excursion, but our guide accommodated us which was a huge relief!! Kudos to the guide and Nicecar company! We drove high into the hills and luxury homes and had fantastic views and pictures. It was late April, so the crowds had not swarmed the beaches yet. The landscape is gorgeous! And the cars are a blast!

What a wonderful experience!

ship is leaving 10 minutes earlier, you need to be there 30 minutes before official departure and get a printed voucher to get on the boat.. beautiful sightseeing trip with the "Charlotte" (boat) and very kind and friendly crew! It was absolutely stunning! seats are very comfortable and the view even from the inside is very clear!

Great Private Tour with Local Guide

If you are looking for an exclusive, small boat experience, I highly recommend this trip. Our guide and captain George was a wealth of information and made our trip memorable. We saw breathtaking views of the major local sites - Nice, Villefranche, Cap de Ferrat - from the water. Swimming is available in unique locations when conditions are right. Snacks and wine were a nice touch. Pickup and drop off were a breeze in the harbor area, a short walk from the promenade. Communication was also easy to understand and timely. A highlight of our time in Nice!

Pleasantly content

I booked this tour weeks ahead of our trip and didn’t remember the details when it came to the date. Seeing the boat in person I was a bit disappointed. That being said, it was a great tour. The guide was informative and we all had a head time. We were able to swim in the water and have time in a a Villefranche. Very basic as far as amenities, but still pleasantly happy in the end. Things to note; no bathroom on board, bring your own towel and water. Can get chilly without wind.
