Roger was the best guide! He gave us all the relevant information while keeping the tour fun and interesting. The experience overall was amazing, after leaving the book of kells we walked to Dublin castle to learn more about the history of Ireland. Along the way Roger gave us local recommendations. I ended up going with another solo traveler on the tour to a restaurant he recommend for lunch which was lovely! Would definitely recommend!!

Anna was an excellent guide, engaging, knowledgeable, funny. Castle is about to be closed for a bit due to the EU Presidency moving to Ireland. Library has been “thinned” in preparation for its renovations. We’ve could still see it but soon they’ll just be a virtual tour.

A hidden gem

Edward our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. This tour is a hidden gem. We understand the history of this city so much better now. The Dublin castle and St Patrick Cathedral are amazing. I took this tour with my toddler and Edward was so patient with the both of us. He was engaging with my son which made this tour so worth it. Would do it again in a heartbeat.
