Amazing nature views
It’s a 12 hour day with about six hours of driving but well worth it for the beautiful nature views. The guides were amazing.

It was such a beautiful,...
It was such a beautiful, fun, and serene experience. The water was perfect and beautiful. We would definitely do it again!

Tubing
Tubing was fun, the water was so beautiful. The rainforest around it was equally beautiful. We saw sloths, moneys, cows, and horses. We also saw beautiful birds and butterflies. It was low tide so the water was a little rough, but it was very relaxing for me.

Costa Rica Ecosystem UP Close!
We had a fabulous excursion with Johan as our guide to the waterfall and Fernando showed us amazing wildlife (sloths, viper snakes, etc). It was an educational day and a great way to explore the ecosystem of Costa Rica. Highly recommend!

Amazing Day!
We had an amazing tour with our guide, Dayro! He was knowledgeable, friendly, and great at spotting wildlife we would have missed on our own.
Rio Celeste Waterfall was stunning, and the Sloths and Wildlife Sanctuary was a highlight. We saw eyelash viper snakes, a tree frog, and even an anteater!
The van was very comfortable for the long ride, and the food was great as well.
Highly recommend this tour—Dayro made our tour unforgettable.

A must book!
Great tour! Our guide Johnny was great at spotting all types of animals and was very knowledgeable. He accommodated our time schedule but still felt like we got our money worth. Also was great at taking pictures of us along the way. The waterfall itself is a decent walk up and down but worth it for the views. At the end of the hike we finished with fresh coconuts from the stand!

Good time all day long
Julio Cesar was funny and a super guide.
He made sure everyone was feeling comfortable and having a good time
During the tour, we spotted toucans, a baby viper, frog, sloth and (from far away) a white head monkey
Also, lunch was tasty

When to visit

There is an admission fee to enter the Tenorio Volcano National Park and visitor numbers are limited, so it’s best to arrive early.
The trail to the waterfall is 3.7 miles (6 kilometers) round-trip, and hiking to the waterfall takes about an hour.
A raincoat and sturdy shoes with a good grip are essential, as rain is common even in the dry season. The trails are unpaved and can get extremely muddy.
Restrooms, a restaurant, and a car park are located at the entrance to the national park.
