What makes this tour unique is that your guide will customize your experience based on your interests. All guests will experience the same walk through the Metcalfe crevice, Duncan Caves and a break at the waterfall. However, your guide will work with you to customize the loop into the falls and back, giving you the ability to “choose your own adventure” on your way back. There are three different route options, varying in length from 8.5km to 10.5km (5hrs). Some offer more beautiful lookouts, others more cave and crevice exploration opportunities.

Explore the Niagara Escarpment and the Singhampton Caves on this private guided hike. Tackle Rat’s Nest Cave, located near Canmore, Alberta, on this all-day adventure tour. After being outfitted with your gear, head out on a short hike up to the cave. Along the way, learn how caves are formed and the geologic history of the area, plus possibly spot bighorn sheep. Once at the cave, rappel down 59 feet (18 meters) and begin navigating the route, which includes some challenging sections that involve climbing, crawling, squeezing, and sliding through the cave. At the end, reach the grotto with its crystal-clear pool and stalactites and stalagmites.

After working up an appetite on your hike we encourage you to try out one of our local establishments such as the Mylar & Loretta's Restaurant, a historic building in the hamlet of Singhampton.
