Ocean Safari with us and experience the best of what the season has to offer. Whales and dolphins are our main stay during the season but are usually limited to June through August regularly. Icebergs can be seen usually between April and July when they are passing through. We are part of the UNESCO certified Discovery Geopark. The geology of the area is from the Ediacharan Period of the geological record and holds the fossil record of some of the first life on the planet. We will include this as part of the narration of the area and the wildlife that we see. Though wildlife is never guaranteed our guests can expect to see whales, dolphins, birds and waterfowl in season as well as icebergs, puffins, gannets, eagles and many other birds. Sunfish are a regular sighting in the falls and Leatherback Turtles and Sea Eagles have been seen.

Fabulous tour with Barry as our guide! He was personable, easy to understand and clearly loves this town where he was born and raised. The pickup from the area of our cruise ship was effortless. Wonderful time visiting the highlights of the area. George provided much information about the area, history and interesting stories. The fish and chips included were absolutely delicious. We loved having a small group instead of a large bus full. It was a great excursion from start to finish. We would highly recommend this tour to all.

Twillingate Iceberg Tour

99 people aboard. A bit too crowed and not enough seating for all. The cabin is certainly not what l would consider "heated". One door was completely open and there was one seat where the heat flowed into the cabin. The captain and crew were excellent and fun. A bit expensive and then expected to pay $ for a golf cart ride. Many folks didn't realise that a park pass was required for the boat trip although that it is mentioned when purchasing tickets. We saw one large iceberg and the captain did a great job to provide photo shots from all angles.

A great experience, but heed the crew's warnings!

Breathtaking and educational. Try to resist your urge to capture everything on your phone - The boat is relatively small, the waves can be choppy, and because of that, my group got a little seasick. We still saw some great sights and the crew so welcoming, helpful, and entertaining. Don't miss out!

We met Adam at the designated meeting point and from the start, the experience was excellent. The weather was perfect and Adam was fun, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. Throughout the tour, we learned about the history behind many of St. John’s iconic buildings, along with some fascinating local ghost stories and fires. Adam’s storytelling brought the city’s past to life in a fun and engaging way. The pubs included on the tour were fantastic.. Each stop had its own character and atmosphere, making it a great way to experience some of St. John’s local hospitality while learning about the city’s history. Although one of the pubs on the itinerary was closed for a private event, Adam quickly adapted and added alternative stops, which worked out wonderfully and showed his commitment to ensuring everyone had a great experience. The afternoon was entertaining, informative and full of laughs. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would happily do the tour again. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique, fun and memorable way to experience St. John’s. Thanks for a fantastic afternoon, Adam!

Consider this a don’t miss!

We were so lucky to see minke whales before we even really took off! And after that, it was a party on the boat with live music, informative (and funny) commentary, some fishing, drinks, and screeching. The staff were so amazing, from the captain to the bartender, we all enjoyed the experience. HIGHLY recommend.
