Great experience! We got to see bottlenose dolphins and blue fin mother whales with their calves. We were really lucky to be able to see them up close. The check in process was easy and getting on the boat was pretty quick. There were plenty of seats and the boat could probably accommodate 100 guests. The crew was friendly and very knowledgeable. There were two naturalists from the Museum of Natural history that were sharing whale facts and what to look for before we got on the boat. Overall great experience.

Absolutely amazing journey! From our great captain and his lovely crew, to the 20 something Finn whales we witnessed… such a privilege to share the sacred beauty that is our California coast! We will definitely be back in time to see the next big Migration!!

Our family had the BEST day aboard Captain Eric’s Song of David! We live in Colorado where Elk and Moose are the “big deal critters,” so we set out with the intent of spotting something we don’t have here- whales! However, we of course know there are never any guarantees with wild animals, so we decided to spring for a private charter on a beautiful sailboat instead of getting tickets for one of the crowded ferry styled boats- that way our 8+10 year old boys could have a new and fun experience regardless of what marine life showed up (meaning mom and dad could also enjoy the day- can I get an “Amen,” parents?! lol). Let me tell you, we were not disappointed! Captain Eric was a wonderful host- providing us not only with delicious snacks, drinks, and warm blankets, but he also passed along lots of cool information about his boat, the art of sailing, and the waters we were traversing (which helped keep my AuDHD kiddo interested in the experience- that and getting to explore a bit below deck)! But the highlight of the day, after seemingly not much marine life success (aside from the hilarious Sea Lions in the harbor), was coming across a few Fin whales, including one that Captain Eric said was probably one of the largest he’s seen! The whale came right alongside our boat and it was at least as long as we were (which was 45ft)- and not shy! On the way back we also came across a large pod of Common Dolphins (with babies) who swam alongside and in front of us- my oldest was sitting in “the dolphin seat” at the front of the boat at the time, and thought it was just about the coolest thing to have dolphins playing right below his dangling toes! The journey was topped off with the spotting of a Humpback Whale in the distance who was showing off for a couple of boats- we watched it breach at least ten times! All in all, this was a splurge our family was so happy to have made as we’ll carry the memories of this experience with us for a lifetime- I would recommend this adventure to anyone (though maybe not if you’re prone to sea sickness haha)! Our party of five (2 middle-aged adults, 3 teenagers) had a blast on the Jet Boat Ride! We were amazed by the maneuverability of the jet boat, and it was so fun to speed around the bay. You get to see all the surrounding sights while ripping around at up to 50 mph, with the occasional 360, and on-point hype music blasting. The boat crew were awesome - professional, friendly, safety-minded. Make sure you secure anything that could blow away, be prepared to get wet, and enjoy the ride. Highly recommend!

Setting off in the amazing blue sea led us to the magical place where whales call home. Many beautiful sightings, dolphins around every corner. You never get tired of what the ocean had for us. Hannah was so amazing making everyone feel welcome, Captain Matt had great energy making sure we get the best view! I’d call it an amazing experience for everyone! And they aren’t just focused on getting a sighting— they care about and respect the wildlife and have a TON of knowledge. Do not second guess booking this tour.

Our Captain had an eagle eye for spotting whales. Our crew was awesome and very polite! Purchasing online was great. ? Maybe the “checking in place” could ask about where we parked, to avoid this next mistake! We parked in the wrong spot! Hefty fines! Be aware of all signage!

Had an amazing time during my tour! I have been to Hollywood before, but never experienced a guided tour. The drive around the areas was superb! Yes…there’s the traffic, but that’s part of the LA love. The tour was very informative, upbeat and never boring. Tommy - our guide - really knows his stuff! From fun facts to engaging his audience. Give him a 10 out of 10! We laughed and enjoyed the commentary and the city sites. Will be returning for another pleasant drive around the Californian Dream Factory.

Great location for your hotel/Inn stay( booked the same day) and restaurants. The Sea Goddess Fantasy Tour Boat (Whale watching) , with parking was just five minutes away! We just loved that!!!!! They DID NOT disappoint!!! We took some amazing photos of whales, seals and dolphins! Great memories and an experience we’ll never forget! The staff were very professional and made sure everyone stayed safe!!!! I strongly recommend this tour!!!
