An exceptional guide to two great sights
Mavliud is superb — informative, flexible, unobtrusive and always smiling. He picked us up and dropped us off at our airbnb, and he managed our day superbly. We spent 4 hours in Bruges and 2 in Ghent. He took us beer and waffle tasting, toured us, put us on the canal cruise and managed every aspect of our day perfectly. I recommend him without hesitation

A great introduction to Brussels!
This is a great way to get to know center city Brussels primary sites no one should miss. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly and shared insightful historical information. The tour also included more insight... and tastings... into local cuisine than expected. We enjoyed the waffle tasting and chocolate tasting in particular.

This tour more than met the high expectations. which had been created by other recommendations.
Stefan and Antoine did a remarkable amusingly teaching us about the world of chocolate and beer. They did this while smoothly and seamlessly escorting us to premier chocolatier shops. and pubs selling the finest beer. They fully lived up to the expectations of the tour’s already high ratings, and I would recommend this tour highly to anyone who visits Brussels.

An amazing experience!
We had a wonderful evening tour with Tiaego whose knowledge and stories about Brussels and Belgium were amazing. It encapsulated his audience and had a great attention to detail. He kept everyone including our teenagers attentive and interested in everything he spoke about. The waffles, chocolates and beer were some of the best we tasted in our few days in Belgium. I highly recommend taking this tour as it gives you an insight into the history and culture of this beautiful city.

Highly recommend! Just book it!!
This trip was advertised as a group tour, although at the port we were picked up by our guide, Charlene, and the driver in a mini bus, just our group! It ended up a private tour for the rest of the day and we retuned to the ship on time. Charlene is a very experienced, humorous, local lady in Bruges and she started educating us on Bruges at the start of the drive out of the port! We learnt so much and thoroughly enjoyed the day. I think on our own we wouldn’t have noticed or known about our surroundings if we had just wondered around town ourselves. To top off the day, which was my birthday, Charlene surprised me with a little box of all sorted praline chocolates as we were heading back to the ship, which was very thoughtful and sweet of her! Another advantage is that this tour was 50% cheaper than the identical trip sold onboard the cruise ship - which is often a larger group tour. I will truly remember this birthday fondly for many years to come! Bruges is absolutely beautiful and historical, made even more enjoyable by the full blown sun we had all day, which is amazing for mid October!

Wonderful day
Francis was our guide. He showed up on time. and took us around the city. He took into account the types of sites that I wanted to see and gave us as much time as we wanted to see individual sites. He was very pleasant and made sure we were comfortable and not tired throughout the entire tour. I would definitely recommend Francis again.

Great fun making waffles.
We had a terrific time at the workshop. First don’t forget the beer part which is very important since you have to choose which one to have in your waffle batter. Luckily you don’t have to rely on a tiny sip to make your choice, maybe a half a bottle is needed! And there are at least 4 beers to choose from. Making the batter following the precise instructions of the instructor was simple enough but owing to lots of questions and banter from the participants even that was fun. Then you have to eat them! Plan accordingly. You won’t need to eat again for a while. But you can wrap them up and take them with you. We ran our extras through the hotel’s toaster the next morning for breakfast!

Great tour and food!
My tour was wonderful and the food was delicious. David was a good guide, it felt like I had a very knowledgeable local friend showing me around and sharing history and other interesting cultural facts. I was especially grateful, and impressed with the tour company, since they ran the tour even though I was the only person. I appreciate the integrity and professionalism to honor my ticket, I think other companies may have canceled. I would have been very sad if I had to miss this fun tour. I highly recommend it!

Enjoyable tour
This trip turned out to be a solo tour for me, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our tour guide was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and easy to listen to. I really enjoyed all of the information he shared with us, and everything was timed out perfectly.
I believe our tour guide’s name was Frank, and I would definitely recommend him. He made the tour enjoyable, informative, and very well organized!

Excellent Choice!
If you are looking for an incredibly fun experience where you also learn about the history and process of chocolate making, this is the workshop for you. Our teacher, Patricia, was extremely informative about each step as we created both milk and dark chocolate delicacies. She guided us with clear directions and a wonderful sense of humor. The protocols for cleanliness and safety were an important part of the experience. We each walked away with a scrumptious box of chocolates which we made ourselves and great memories to treasure from our trip.

Highly recommend
We had a great tour through the streets of Brussels with our guide, Laurent. He gave us a lot of information about the history and culture of the city, as well as tips on other things to do during our stay. This is one of the reasons why we always try to do a food tour on the day we arrive in a new city. The food was delicious and it was lots of fun.

Lovely way to spend a morning
We had a lovely couple of hours making chocolates. Chris was very friendly and explained everything very well. We were a small group which was nice as there was plenty of room and time for more questions. The hot chocolate was delicious and the ones we made will not make it home!

Storybook cities, chocolate factories, charming countryside—Belgium may sound like a fairy tale. Let it sweep you off your feet, and experience the best of the small country on your own terms. Belgium tours get you to the highlights without the hassle, with day trips to Ghent, Bruges, or Antwerp from Brussels or trips with a knowledgeable guide to World War One battle sites. If you are primarily interested in the chocolate, though, there’s plenty for you as well—walking tours featuring local chocolatiers, workshops where you craft your own truffles, or tours that bring beer and cheese to the table as well.
