Great way to see Mykonos for the day

This tour was a great way to see Mykonos!! At first I didn’t think we would have enough time to see and do all the things- I was mistaken. The amount of time spent in Mykonos was perfect. We had plenty of time for shopping, eating and even beach time. It’s quite the journey to get there which is stated - plan to return tired - I think our entire group slept on the ferry on the return trip. Georgia (Gogo) was a fantastic guide! She offered suggestions for where to eat and get desert and gelato.

We had a great experience with our transfer from the Athens port to our hotel. Our driver met us promptly in the private transfer area just outside the departure terminal, making it very easy to find him after disembarking. The driver was on time, provided exceptional service, and loaded our luggage. The minivan provided had the space for our luggage, and the driver was very polite and professional. Big van in Athens

we had booked a smaller vehicle but when I reiterated that we would bring 2 duffle bags, 2 big suitcases, 4 carryons and 2 walkers, I was advised that a van would be needed - for an additional charge of $40. The driver met us at the pier, having arranged with the police to park in front of the terminal. It was a large van, so large I asked him to use the mike to speak to us while driving. Probably could hold 18 passengers. He was courteous and patient, waiting for us to pass through immigration procedures and collect our luggage. Drove safely. Smaller vehicles are available if you have less luggage - the luggage area at the back of the van was quite full with ours. Good communication with Ancient Greece Tours all the time.

Margaret arrived promptly in a Mercedes sedan at our city center hotel and skillfully maneuvered into the sidewalk pickup stop. She eased us thru Monday morning traffic, offered some tidbits of mythology and managed to look glamorous as well while handling baggage. I had emailed the company prior regarding our luggage. Although the European airlines allow 2 carryons and 2 checked bags, local car services will require a van, which is harder and more expensive to book. We modified our bags to the requisite one carryon and one checked per person to more easily book service.

This was an excellent tour. Nasir was knowledgeable, fascinating and was easy to follow. We ate so much food that we didn’t need dinner, and it was all delicious. He toured us through markets and restaurants, each place getting a snack or a meal. And we thought the snacks were the meal until we ended at a restaurant with many plates to share.. and alcoholic drinks. He was very people friendly. Highly recommend.

Reliable company!

VIATOR is the company we know we can count on! I kept trying to reply to the messages but kept getting that it was not delivered. Finally one of our hotel staff called the local company for us and all was resolved! Spoke to the owner of the company and he was very nice and assured me that our driver would be on time!

This tour was amazing. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, provided great information, and also had a photo book on hand which was really nice when explaining the sites. We visited the Olympic stadium, Presidential Palace, changing of the guards, Old University and Libarary, before heading to Acropolis and Parthenon. We spent about two hours touring the Acropolis and Parthenon. The driver was also very careful and made us feel safe. Highly recommend.
