Excellent historical tour

An excellent overall tour. Starting early was a great choice as we beat many of the crowds as our guide told us there are about 15,000 people that visit every day. We did the full day excursion but unfortunately because of the extreme rainy weather Mount V was closed. Instead we could choose to take a train back to Sorrento or visit the Herculaneum ruins. We decided to stay and very happy we did. Both excursions were fantastic. LouLou our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, had a good sense of humour and genuinely cared for everyone in the group. We highly recommend this tour.

Wonderful experience

Wonderful day spent seeing the blue grotto, chairlift in Anacapri, and boat tour around the island of Capri. Thankfully the blue grotto was open the day we went. Have tip money ready as the boat operators ask for tips. Highly recommend the chairlift in Anacapri - beautiful views. Goes slow and there are helpers to get you on and off the lift safely. We opted to take a boat cruise around the island of Capri which I highly recommend - 25€ per person and totally worth the 1 hour ride. Luigi was our guide and he was excellent. Got on an early ferry out of Sorrento and we were able to beat the rush at the blue grotto.

Great tour

An excellent tour of two very wonderful historic sites. Our guide aka (Amadeus) gave a fascinating talk at each site visited. He really brought to life the artefacts and buildings we saw. Despite heavy rain he maintained his enthusiasm to keep us all going.

Gem of Sorrento

What an absolute gem in Sorrento! We ended up on this tour because all of our boat days were raining out and I’m so glad we did because it became one of our favorite things we’ve ever done. Such a welcoming family and beautiful farm. So interesting to learn about the process of it all and to see all of the hard work from multiple generations. Exceptional meal and goodies to take home as well.

What a wonderful expierence! I appreciated that the day prior I was contacted to tell me that the tour would be starting at 10:30 am; about 2 hrs later due to the impending weather. I appreciated that the company wouldn't take us on a boat in high waves. We shared the boat with a sweet couple from Indiana and their little girl and a family from Israel. Wish we would have gotten their contact info. We had a great tour operator; Frederica and her boyfriend who was the Captain. They were very informative and answered many questions we had on the beautiful Amalfi coastline. We shared the ride with a sweet couple from Indiana and their little girl. The coastline was just beautiful and the waters were clear and the most beautiful blue colors. After a great visit to Amalfi and Positano we re boarded the boat and were served fresh fruit, Prosecco, Wine and Limoncello! We did not swim because the waters were very chilly for us Americans! I highly advise this trip. It was well organized and fairly priced.

Singing Captain

We really enjoyed this tour. we are very fortunate to get a great captain and mate. They made this trip enjoyable, fun, lots of laughter, and even had the captain sing us a song. He took us into many coves. Excellent driver, lots of stories. Had a chance to swim, which everyone enjoyed. Going to Capri was enjoyable as well, seeing the sites, having a packed lunch from the tour was wonderful, chairlift, everything about this trip was enjoyable. Highly recommend.

Excellent One Day Excursion

It was a well orchestrated schedule with three cities and a small boat tour off shore. Our guide, Michlynn was very kind, professional and knowledgeable. Our driver was very personable and experienced in driving the very narrow and winding roads on the coast. The Amalfi Coast is a beautiful, great one day excursion.

So much fun

We had so much fun on this boat tour! The tour itself was the perfect amount of time. We saw all of the grottos, had a chance to go into the blue grotto before the crowds got busy, had plenty of time to explore Capri, and still got to go swimming. They provided goggles to snorkel, too! We also enjoyed complimentary fresh fruit and refreshments. The tour guides were so helpful, knowledgeable, and fun! We had such a blast!

Roberto was our tour...

Roberto was our tour guide, he was fantastic! Very nice, welcoming, funny, and very knowledgeable. He was able to reserve a spot for lunch for the group if we wanted in amalfi to help save time from the crowds/potential longer waits for food. There was also a optional boat tour of the Amalfi coast that was incredible I’d highly recommend if offered the opportunity.

Spectacular!

It was a very hot day...

It was a very hot day when we visited these historical sites. Make sure to bring water and hats and fans when you visit during the summer months. Our tour guide’s name was Vincenzo. He was great! He was knowledgeable, friendly and funny. He made the ruins and their history relevant. He was also very considerate of the heat and always looking for shaded areas to give us the information about the ruins. He was a great guide and is why we had such a good experience there.
