The Perfect Sorrento Farm Tour!

My family and I had the most AMAZING experience at La Masseria. Our tour guide, Raffael was extremely knowledgeable, kind, funny, and genuine. We felt right at home with Raffael and his family. We got an in-depth tour of the farm with many interesting facts about the fruits and vegetables they grow, including their famous lemons and olives. We then got to try some delicious food (made by Raffael’s own mother in their kitchen). This experience felt like the perfect way to step outside of the touristy Amalfi Coast and learn more about Italian culture, family, and agriculture. Highly recommend!

Best boat day ever!

This was the best experience I’ve ever been on! Luciano and Vittorio were the best tour guides EVER! They were sooo delightful- very knowledge about the histories of Positano and Amalfi and they had the best customer service ever. I can’t recommend this experience enough. I went with a group of friends and there were 3 other couples on the boat and we were all best friends by the end! We hugged we laughed we danced we sang I wish we could do it all again!

Great history of Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius. Bus driver and guide Dani were wonderful. Tour guide, Francesco, in Pompeii was so good at explaining the many areas. Climbing Mount Vesuvius was quite a steep climb for someone who doesn’t hike frequently, but the view is spectacular and worth the hike.

Denise, Gaia, Elsa, and Antonio were absolutely incredible hosts, guiding our small group through a hands-on cooking class filled with tons of laughs, great wine, and amazing food. Communication about pickup was seamless and super easy to find the boat. The sites were incredible and breathtaking. Christian was our captain and he was the absolute best! So kind and personable- made our tour so much more enjoyable. The boat itself was great and was a super amazing time. Drinks and fruit were offered (and amazing). Perfect Amalfi coast day trip with an Outstanding guide

All-Day Tour of Positano, Amalfi Coast, and Ravello – Monday, May 4 (Guide: Sergio) This was an excellent tour and an outstanding experience from start to finish. Our guide, Sergio, was fantastic, and the itinerary was perfectly planned. The tour included comfortable bus transportation combined with a scenic boat ride along the Amalfi Coast and a boat tour in Amalfi, which added a wonderful perspective of the coastline. Lunch was in Amalfi at La Taverna di Masaniello, and it was absolutely excellent. The restaurant has been family-owned for three or four generations, and we followed the owner’s recommendations for local specialties. I ordered the whole sea bass with lemon and olive oil. It arrived as a full fish, and the staff expertly deboned and de-skinned it tableside. The fish was incredibly fresh—light, white, and flaky. While there were still a few small bones (as expected with fresh fish), it didn’t detract at all from the experience. It was delicious and authentic. My husband ordered the lemon and shrimp ravioli with a lemon cream sauce, which was also outstanding. We each enjoyed a glass of the house white wine, and everything—from the food to the service—was excellent. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant if you’re in Amalfi—10/10. From Amalfi, we drove up to Ravello, a charming and quaint mountain town. We enjoyed a quick espresso at a café and visited a local painting and ceramic shop, where we purchased beautiful hand-painted ceramics from a local female business owner. The owner and her daughter (or assistant) spoke excellent English, processed the transaction quickly, and completed all shipping paperwork efficiently before we had to leave. After Ravello, we completed the roughly one-hour bus ride back to Sorrento. Overall, this was a really great day with the perfect amount of time in each destination. I would 100% recommend this tour for anyone looking to see all the Amalfi Coast highlights without the stress of coordinating boat schedules, transportation, or waiting in long tourist lines. Everything was organized seamlessly, including boat tickets, and we never had to wait in line. A fantastic way to experience the coast.

Simply the Best

On the back of Achille’s shirt was written ‘I’m not arrogant. Simply the best!’ - and it was 100% true! Our day started off a little stressful, but the moment we were greeted by the Morgans that changed. There were six of us in total, and we spent around 6 hours out on the water or in Capri. Everyone spent the journey home chatting about what a lovely time we had. First off, the boat is amazing. Mimi 8.5 is a lovely vessel with comfortable seats, easy to get in and out of, and is clearly lovingly taken care of and kept on top condition. Every corner we turned, there was beauty. And the Morgan’s made sure we got to see and experience all of it. Massimo is a great captain with a clear wealth of experience. He navigated the caves so that everyone on the boat (4 in back, 2 up front) was able to see every angle of their beauty, and get some fantastic pictures. Achille shared amazing facts about each area, and even though it must have been tiring sharing with the front of the boat then repeating to the back, he didn’t seem to tire! My partner became sea sick, and Achille gave us advice on where to go and what to get to help her recover and enjoy the rest of the day. It worked a treat! Their happiness and love for the area was infectious. They were happy to give advice on places to see and when the best time was to do things, such as take a swim in the magical blue waters. It really was the perfect day out, worth every penny, and I would recommend the Morgans to anyone and everyone who wants to experience the Sorrento peninsula and the hidden gems around the coast of Capri.
