- Attention : We have a limited number of tickets for 9.30 slot! The places for 9.30 slot will be filled according to the booking order! But even without the tickets for 9.30 the tour will be done anyway, starting by Cascais and finishing in Sintra. But we'll visit the 2 palaces anyway. Tickets are not included : Pena Palace : 20€ Quinta da Regaleira : 20€
- Attention: If you have any problems walking or you walk slowly, we don't advise you this tour!
- Attention: You don't need to worry about the tickets for both palaces. We'll buy them for you and you''ll pay us in cash or paypal the day of the tour.
- Attention: the entrance in the palaces have a slot we must respect. We will not be responsible by any accidents or other reasons out of our control that can change the course of the tour or skip a palace if we don't get there on the expected time!
- Attention: we don't have tickets only for the exterior. We always visit the interior of the Palace with guided tour.
- Not recommended for people who walk slowly or with any kind of trouble to walk with a quick step.

Eddy was a fantastic tour guide! He is a very funny and friendly guy who made the whole experience enjoyable. He took lots of great pictures for us and even made a video, which was such a nice touch. Everything was very well organized, the timing was perfect, and the lunch was great. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Eddy.
Wonderful tour , Bruno was an amazing guide - made our day - great organisation , yummy Portuguese tarts , great photos , made our little group a family for the day. He gets you to Peña palace early ahead of most of the crowds . Great lunch and fit so much into our day . Was an amazing day - highly recommend

Bruno was a fantastic guide - he was thoughtful, informative, and funny. We would all choose this tour again if given the chance. The early start is definitely worth it to beat the crowds, especially during high season. We also had one of the best meals on our trip at a farm to table restaurant for lunch. Thank you Bruno!

Such an amazing experience! Ines was the best tour guide. We saw the beautiful castles and were one of the first ones to arrive so we didn’t have to wait in line long. We also saw the most amazing views along the coastline and had the best meal for lunch! Such a great day! Highly recommend!
Excellent tour, small group of only 4 on our trip. Luckas was a very nice guide.
We got to the Pena Palace early and we're first in line. We we left there it was a madhouse so the early start made a big difference.
The lunch stop was also nice with fast service and a good selection.
Ines was a warm and lovely person. Our group of 7 became a family/team . She went the extra mile with one of our group member on crutches. The sightseeing and the food was awesome. Recommend this tour anytime.

Time flys, you need to be in good shape to do the walking, you learn a lot about Portuguese history.
I had the most incredible experience on my tour with Ines! From start to finish, everything was organized perfectly. She was so knowledgeable, funny, personable, and knew all the ins and outs of every location, which meant we avoided the long lines and got the absolute most out of the day.
The small group size of just 7 people made the experience feel so personal and special. Everyone got along so well, and we spent the entire 10 hours laughing, exploring, and having such a fun time together. The lunch restaurant she chose was also absolutely delicious.

This tour was absolutely incredible—one of the highlights of my trip.
Eddy was a fantastic guide: funny, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable. From the start, he created a WhatsApp group for our tour, which made communication seamless throughout the day. It was such a thoughtful touch—and even better, he took photos of each of us along the way and uploaded them in real time. He even created a video highlight reel for each groupnof travelers, which was such a fun and unexpected bonus.
What really stood out was how attentive and adaptable he was. We were originally scheduled to visit Pena Palace first, but Eddy checked the weather and realized it would be overcast. Instead, he pivoted the plan so we visited the coast first and got stunning beach views—then timed our arrival at the palace perfectly when the skies had cleared. That kind of flexibility made a huge difference in the experience.
The small group size made everything feel easy, personal, and well-paced. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better day.

Phenomenal trip. My wife and I have traveled around Europe and taken a lot of tours. Our guide Bruno was the best we ever had. He was informative, smart fun, considerate. We were the first in line for everything. He took all our pictures for us and sent them to us. He made a video of our whole day. Lots of walking up steep hills so bring your walking shoes and hope that you get Bruno as your guide
Lukas was an excellent guy. He was very organized. Informative kept us on time and gave us all the good details. We had a really wonderful day. Throughout the day, he was constantly taking pictures of the entire group so that we did not have to and shared them with us. this trip is an excellent value.

Sintra is beautiful and Eduardo was a fun and informative guide. The palace is interesting but the gardens at the two sites in Sintra are breathtaking and a lovely walk.
Lukas, the driver/guide was timely, funny, informative, and provided us with some great photographs (that was an unexpected bonus). My sister ordered the wrong lunch item and he quickly spoke to the restaurant staff and changed the order. He knew all the best parking spots to ensure a fast and easy in and out. Great day!
Eduardo (Eddie) provided us with a great day by going above and beyond in leading our tour. The early start to the day meant we arrived at the Pena Palace ahead of the crowds.
A wealth of information and so grateful for the early start to avoid the crazy long cues! Our guide Bruno was very knowledgeable, interesting and obviously passionate about the history and stories of the region. The lunch was authentic and tasty, very local cuisine. It would be difficult to get all the history in one day and the small travel group was great!
This was an excellent tour and we highly recommend it. The best perk of this trip was that they ensure that you are the first ones in line at the castle, so you have the shortest wait and best experience. Also, our guide, Bruno, was amazing, funny, and caring. He took the time to take photos of everyone at the various stops and share them with us, along with a great history lesson of everywhere that we visited. This trip is worth the time and money!
This tour was fantastic. Even on a chilly day we had a blast at all locations. Being the first people to enter Pena Palace was wonderful considering how busy it got shortly after. Lukas our tour guide had everything planned to a T and ensured we got the best photos and moments. The lunch restaurant was authentic and wonderful. We sat down right away and there was already appetizers and wine on the table! Highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see some great places and have everything taken care of for them! We had a great day with Eddy of Happy Tours. The itinerary was excellent. The early entrance to the palace got us ahead of the crowds. After the sights of Sentra, we enjoyed the stops along the beautiful coast. The pictures that Eddy took and sent to us was a plus.
I had a really great time on this Sintra tour with Happy Tours Portugal. Our guide, Lukas (with a “K”), was punctual, knowledgeable, and very funny, which made the day both smooth and enjoyable.
One of the biggest advantages of this tour was the organization. We were the first group to enter Pena Palace, which meant we skipped the queues entirely and experienced it before the crowds arrived. Being in a small group made everything feel relaxed and well paced.
The lunch stop was excellent because of both the views and the food, and the overall structure of the day was thoughtful and efficient. On top of that, the vibe was fantastic including some unexpected carpool karaoke on the drive, which added to the fun.
Between the early palace access, great food, seamless organization, and having such a great guide, it’s easy to see why Happy Tours Portugal is so highly rated. I highly recommend this tour, especially Lukas with the K.
Lukas was a fantastic tour guide for this trip. His knowledge of the area and charisma know no match. The whole 10 hour experience flew by because of how much fun we all were having!
It was so fun! Despite the insane rain , it was still quite enjoyable. Lucas was a joy who knew how to maintain the vibes and took great pictures of all of us.
We had an early start, but we’re able to get to Peña Palace as it opened, missing all of the lines! Our guide was very knowledgeable of the area and associated history. He took pictures and shared via WhatsApp. Lunch was delicious at a quaint Portuguese restaurant. The shrimp dish was amazing. As we visited Quinta Do Rogario our guide provided background information and a suggested route which included the well, the chapel, and the house. Onto Cassius to see the mouth of hell. It was one of the best tours that I have ever taken, our guide made it very special.
