Vienna & Bratislava from budapest in one day
this trip was a loong day but worth it. starting out at 8am, our small group, expertly driven by Filip headed to Bratislavia. Athough the capital of Slovakia, it has a small town feel. The old town area is small, but has plenty of shops & restaurants, My wife and I enjoyed a light lunch and wine. this was enjoyable but we had to leave as the next stop was Vienna in Austria. we visited the grounds of Belvedere Palace with its fountains and gardens. Here too, we went to the old town with its shops and many restaurants. This area is very crowded, but St Stephen’s cathedral is an impressive visit. Sadly our tour had to end as it is almost 3 hours back to Budapest. Our host and driver, Filip, was very knowledgeable and provided interesting facts and information. If you have a day to spend, it is worth it

Riding with Paul and Gabriella
4 of us took the tour in tandem in 2 tuk tuks, one driven by Paul and one by Gabriella. We were out for 4 hours and covered the major sites on both sides of the Danube. That alone was special and a fun way to tour and learn but Paul and Gabriella took it to a whole new level. They are both smart, well informed, engaging and interesting speakers with good senses of humour. Throughout the tour there was an easy exchange of information, family background and questions and answers while learning much about Buda and Pest. Not to be missed. First Food Tour!
I travel quite a bit but have never been on a food tour before. I really enjoyed getting to try some traditional foods of Budapest. Our host was so friendly and personable! We got to sample several things, meet other travelers, and learn some local history too. It was the perfect length of time to fit into a day trip! Highly recommended.

Great intro to Hungarian culture
Take this tour if you want to learn about Hungarian culture and food! Our gude, Estzi, was phenomenal! She was helping out Flora, whom I assume was also great, but we got so much food and info about Hungary in 3 hours that I was still full the next morning! We had a great group; it's a fun way to meet new friends and stay awake.
