What are people saying about Bucharest

Magical day out
Excellent but long day out! The itinery was fantastic with majestic castles and a quaint town. There were plenty of toilet stops during the day mainly at service stations where there were minimal queues. There was a bit of a queue at Peles castle but it moved at a reasonable pace. Lunch was at an authentic restaurant recommended by Romeo, our guide. Romeo was very informative and helpful although some quiet on the journey back to Bucharest would have been appreciated.

Bulgaria Day Trip from Zagreb, Croatia.
I really enjoyed it. The only issue for me is the van was completely full. It's nice to meet new people, but to be so close to absolute strangers is uncomfortable. I realize you cannot rent an oversize vehicle to transport 6 people. But there should be a bit more space to add to the comfort of riding for several hours.

Great day out
Great day out at the Slănic Salt Mine. Our guide was a lovely lady - friendly, organised, and full of interesting information about the area and the mine's history. The whole trip ran smoothly and the site itself is incredible to see.
Definitely worth doing.

The experience was truly wonderful!
The location is exceptional, with the castles surrounded by breathtaking nature and stunning architecture that makes the whole trip feel magical.
The agency was very well organized and clearly placed great emphasis on safety, both during the tour and transportation, which made us feel very comfortable throughout the day.
A special mention to our guide, Emanuel, who was extremely communicative and passionate about his work. He shared valuable insights about the history of the region and gave us an authentic understanding of Romania.
Overall, it was a memorable and enriching experience that I would highly recommend!

Lots to see
Really great way to fit in everything in one day. You have plenty of time walk through and see the palace/castle. The palace and castle took about an hour for me to walk through and then I had 30 ish minutes to explore the town. This trip takes you into the mountains, which is much colder than Bucharest. I went in the beginning of april, and although in Bucharest it was about a high of 12°C in the mountains it was -3°C and snowing.

Bran Castle, Peles and Brasov day trip
Great tour. Paying the extra for a private vechile and guide was well worth it. Dragos our guide and driver was excellent, explained everything very well, knowledgeable on Romania and the areas and sites we visited. Peles palace was well worth it, go early to avoid the crowds! Big thanks to Dragos, top guide for our day trip

Peles & Dracula’s castle tour
Very good trip but a long day. Take cash if you want to visit inside the castles as this is not included. You could also book online yourself if available. Quite a climb up to Bran Castle. Guide Laura was very informative on the coach but gave us rest time as well. Well organised when we arrived at Castles and gave strict times to meet back at the coach. Gave plenty of information around Peles castle too but we did Bran on our own. There was also free time in Brasov with enough time for lunch. It rained all day but I am sure the scenery would be lovely with better weather.

Beautiful Introduction to Rio
We spent the day with Gustavo from Viator, who “hosted” our entire first day in Rio very well. It took a long time to get through the lines on the way to Christ the Redeemer but Gustavo shaved at least an hour from the wait time by negotiating “standing room” seats on the train to the top, which was pretty brilliant. We then drove to Copacabana beach which was gorgeous and to a very local vendor to buy tee shirts for the grandkids (great deal!). Gustavo took us to lunch at a local restaurant in Santa Theresa (Armazem San Joaquim) with a marvelous Samba musician. We wrapped up the day with a tour of the Metropolitan Cathedral. It was a wonderful start to our Rio experience!

I was the only one on...
I was the only one on this tour (felt like a private tour) and we walked around outside of the main city centre and I got to see another side to Bucharest. Getting to go where the locals go and taste amazing Romanian food. Elena was so informative and the vibe was great. She explained historic events and showed me pictures from the past at certain locations so I was able to really understand what it was like to live in Bucharest from many years ago to the present.
The tour had a lot of food I was so full!! I enjoyed this so much and definitely recommend doing this tour when in Bucharest.

Must see day trip!
The trip was lovely. The family was excited to explore and we weren't disappointed. Surprisingly Bran Castle was nicer than expected, Peles Castle was unfortunately not open the day we went (check your days) but the exterior didn't disappoint. It was a lovely fairytale Castle set in beautiful scenery, & Brasnov was a large lovely square with plenty of restaurants. Our tour guide Gabriel was very knowledgeable & we feel he helped round out the experience with great details. There truly is something for everyone. I would love to return for hiking.

Memorable day in Bucharest
Our guide Nicolas was great. We enjoyed his company and stories about the city as much as we did the actual sites we visited. He was very knowledgeable and extremely flexible with how we did the tour and rearranged the schedule last minute. Highly recommended

Must Do Tour!
Our tour with Robert gave us a totally different perspective on our trip to Bucharest and gave brilliant insight in to the city (history, architecture, politics and location). 3 hours honestly wasn't enough, he was so interesting and knowledgeable and we had lots of fun.

Bucharest is a multi-faceted European capital that has, in many ways, modernized rapidly since the fall of the Soviet Union. But it retains an old-world flavor that makes it a favorite among travelers. Learn about Romania’s complex past with history-focused Bucharest tours, then sample the city’s specialties on a food-focused walk and see major attractions like the royal palace. There are even excursions to popular tourist destinations nearby like Transylvania and Dracula’s Castle.
