Awesome tour
Awesome day out. Pickup gold coast 5.45am. Arrived on the island about 9.30am by the time we went to brisbane, picked up the rest of the tour, then drove to the port (the ferry is 1.5 hours). Sandboarding, snorkeling and kayaking were all great. All guides were fantastic. Lunch was good. Arrived back at surfers paradise at 6.30pm so it is a long day but its definitely worth it. Thanks so much team.

I was given bad info...
I was given bad info about closest place to my hotel to meet the tour. Could literally have walked a couple blocks instead of spending $$$ on an Uber to a farther meet point. Zoo is beautiful and worth seeing. Driver/Steve had great information stories on ride there and back.

Great day tour of North Stradbroke Island
A really great day out to North Stradbroke Island, there was a lot packed into the day but the pace always felt leisurely, never rushed. The tour guide, Pete was fantastic from start to finish, he was professional, organised, knowledgeable and friendly and had so much interesting information which really enhanced the day. The scenery was beautiful and we were lucky enough to see turtles, dolphins, kangaroos, wallabies and koalas in their natural habitats. I would thoroughly recommend this tour, a really great, full day out.

This is a nice, easy way...
This is a nice, easy way to get to the Koala Sanctuary! There's no need to find a car or bus to take you there, as this is a dedicated, round trip river cruise which is also quite pleasant and informative. There's food and drink on board, and the ride is over an hour. The only small drawback is that most of the available animal shows on the property are already over when you reach Lone Pine. Your time on the property (about 3 hours) is spent walking through the many animal viewing areas, and you can book an "up close and personal" visit with a koala, or spend time in the interactive kangaroo area, feeding the many snoozing roos and joeys. All in all, it's a pleasant way to spend a day! You'll also arrive back at the public dock by around 3pm, with time left to go exploring the city!
