Mother Daughter Trip
The best way to spend the day, make memories and meet new friends. The setting was beautiful, the food, which we made, was delicious, and the wine was great. I highly recommend this experience to everyone. We took the public bus from Positano to Piazza Cappella (3 euro round trip). You purchase your bus ticket in advance at the tobacco shop. Be early for the bus as they fill up fast. Once we arrived in the piazza we were met by a member of our host family who then walked us to the home. Wear walking shoes and like everywhere in Positano, enjoy the stair climbing.

It’s truly the Best! Complete joy! Do not miss this cooking class!!
This was the most beautiful and outstanding cooking class I have ever taken. In fact, it was one of the most special and beautiful memories I have ever had in Italy. The warmth and joy overflowed. Music and tradition and making pasta memories of a life time. No words can express my sincerest gratitude to Emily with her effervescent personally and love for family and tradition. I had missed my stop on the bus and her brother kindly escorted me to the location of the cooking class helping me find my way. Then I was met by wonderful guests, Emily and her momma. It will be a treasured memory of a lifetime. Food, family, music and love! Magnificent joy! Thank you for best day ever l! You will be so happy if you do this. Do not miss this sweet sweet cooking class which is a true gift to your soul! So much fun and delicious food too!! Go for it!! You will love it! Thank you Emily to you and your beautiful generation of family to bring the true Italian heart!

Best money you can spend!
If you only have 1 day in Positano- spend it with Emily and her family. You are immediately part of their crew- teaching you all of their family recipes and telling heartfelt stories along the way. We left with full bellies and hearts. I can’t recommend this experience enough!

Great cooking class but know it is far from Positano.
It was a great experience! Ferdinando was a great host and made this experience fun! We also met some great people that were in our group of 12. I’ve always wanted to make pasta and Ferdinando made it simple. Something to note is the location is rather far from Positano where my wife and I were staying, about 1 hour and 15 - 30 minutes. We almost decided not to go but couldn’t get a refund as we didn’t try to cancel until we were inside of the 24 hours. Not anyone’s fault but ours. If you can take the bus it will only cost you 10 euros per person there and back. We took the ferry to Amalfi and missed the bus from Amalfi to Agerola that would get us there on time so we had to take a taxi that cost us 135 euros! We did take the bus back to Positano which requires a bus change in Amalfi. The bus is very packed and some people had to stand. I do recommend this class but know you are in for some travel up the mountain.

Positano, a jewel of the Amalfi Coast, is a perfect place to try your hand at making classic Italian meals. The Campania region, where the city is located, is famous especially for seafood. Naples, with its iconic Neapolitan style of pizza, is not that far away either. With Positano cooking classes, try crafting a rum-soaked tiramisu, pizza dough from scratch, or a seafood pasta, all under the watchful eye of a local nonna (grandmother) and with a glass of wine in your hand.
