The coast was so scenic...

The coast was so scenic and the guide took care of the driving and navigation, so you could sit back and enjoy every aspect of the trip! It was very well-organized from the hotel pickup to lunch and right back to our hotels for drop-off. I do have two recommendations for the guide: (1) have everyone introduce themselves when they get on the bus - would definitely feel more communal and help welcome some conversations on the road and (2) the guided instruction went on for about 2 hours in the morning as we headed out of the city and I might cut that down to 1 hour and give everyone a bit of time to relax or listen to music. Otherwise, it was a wonderful excursion!

Hike with beautiful waterfalls and scenery.

I did the Silver Fall Waterfall tour. I was traveling in my own and love hiking. Don’t mind going on my own but opted for a guided hike. First part of hike is with the guide and then you finish on your own, do you go at your pace. Our guide Sarah was great. Learned a lot about the local area and its history. She also gave great suggestions for other things to do on my trip. Beautiful scenery. Lots of walking, bring the right shoes and gear for time of year you are going. Plan on coming back to Portland next fall and will book another tour with them. Whether you are in a group or solo this is a great time if you like to hike and hear about the place your hiking. I had such a wonderful experience on this tour. John was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. He made sure everyone was having a good time and shared so many interesting facts. I felt very comfortable and taken care of, especially as a solo traveler. The waterfalls were gorgeous and this was definitely one of the highlights of my Portland trip. Highly recommend John and this tour. Worth every penny.

The food was wonderful . Our group of six had the beef tenderloin, blackened lamb, chicken, and the steelhead trout. All were delicious and excellently prepared. The scenery was amazing. We really enjoyed seeing the beautiful houses and bridges. Some commentary would have been nice since we were not from this region of the country.

Stunning Tour Through Oregon's Majestic Beauty, and a Delicious Seaside Lunch

This was a wonderful introduction to the coastal beauty of Oregon. I am visiting Portland for a week, and of course I could have drove my rental car over myself but this is not only great convenience, but Mark is a great guide as well, sharing stories and interesting facts about the area along the way that I wouldn't have got going it alone. That makes me appreciate an area much more. He is also super caring and considerate of everyone on the tour. You have a lot of fantastic lunch options in Cannon Beach, and if you choose to visit the candy store there, don't be like me and get just a few pieces of chocolate... you'll regret it when you run out! The walking we did through trails was very light compared to other tours I have done, so accessible to more people who may have some mobility issues but of course, you are still walking dirt trails, with rocks and tree roots, and potentially slippery surfaces so still be mindful of that. Thanks Mark, would happily take another tour with you again!

Beautiful Tour of Portland

This river lunch tour was a beautiful relaxing tour of the city and bridges from the perspective on the river. The sights were spectacular. The food was amazing. The printed tour guide was interesting. Some of us parked in nearby parking ramp. Others took the Maxline and were dropped off just a few blocks from the dock. The booking and communication from Viator made the whole experience seamless. Can’t wait to do it again with other family and friends!

It was a wonderful cruise.

Captain Spicy was knowledgeable, very kind, and wonderful. The explanation of the history of the Willamette River was easy to understand, and I had a very meaningful time. Another fun memory in Portland with beautiful scenery and him at his host. The boat rocked from the waves of boats coming from the opposite side sometimes, but I enjoyed that too. However, since water can sometimes get in when it shakes, we recommend not placing luggage on the floor. Since the afternoon cruise will be sunny, you should put on sunscreen and wear sunglasses.
