What are people saying about Mexico City

Long day, but balloons worth it!!
The balloon ride was wonderful! The whole experience was very organized and we were never left bored or waiting. It was well worth the value. However, the meal in the cave is NOT at La Gruta (famous underground cave advertised on insta/fb), it’s another cave, and the food was not great. The stop at the “cultural center” before the pyramids could have easily been skipped. It was full of pushy vendors trying to sell stuff, and there was no history given on the pyramids. There was a bit of history on obsidian stones and pulque drinks, but more time given for souvenirs shopping that we didn’t care for. The guide, Gala, was fabulous and cared a lot about each of us ensuring we were hydrated and feeling well. We only wish there was a tour offering balloons and pyramid, no breakfast or tourist trap shopping.

Awesome
Eliezer and Álvaro were exceptional guides throughout the entire tour. They were knowledgeable, patient, and made every part of the experience enjoyable. Their explanations were clear and engaging, and they took the time to make sure everyone understood what was being presented. The translation was excellent—smooth, accurate, and very easy to follow. It helped create a comfortable environment for everyone, regardless of language. Both of them showed professionalism, kindness, and genuine care for the group, which made the tour feel even more special. I truly appreciated their effort and dedication. Highly recommended.

Worth the early morning...
Worth the early morning wake up call. Transportation was coordinated the night before. On time the morning of. Trust the process when you arrive, there was coffee and very light refreshments then we were guided to the balloons. Photos and videos are taken throughout and you have the opportunity to purchase them afterwards, though the packages are pretty expensive. It’s a long day with the driving, balloon ride, breakfast, tequila tasting and temple tour plus the ride back to CDMX but it was worth it. I’d plan for that evening to be downtime so you can recover. Bring a hat and sun shirt for the temple tour, there’s no shade and the sun is stronger at this elevation. Id recommend to anyone spending more than a couple days in CDMX
