Pick up and return drop off directly at the cruise ship was definitely a plus. Very comfortable 18 passenger van. Mariarita was an amazing guide. She gave a lot of historical information about the three areas we visited during the tour and recommended foods and drinks to try. Her humor made the tour even more enjoyable. We definitely recommend this tour.

The trip went wonderfully. Our tour guide Chiara explained everything very well and in detail in good English. It was also particularly noteworthy that Chiara comes from this region and knows many interesting things about Como and the surrounding area.

Our family’s recent visit to the Vatican was made all the more special thanks to the insight and experience of our wonderful guide, Davide. He accompanied us every step of the way as we took in the incredible collections of the Vatican Museum, the beauty of the Sistine Chapel and the mind-boggling grandeur of St. Peter’s Basilica. The collections are enormous (it would take days to see them all!) but Davide made sure to show us all the highlights: the Pinecone Courtyard, the Belvedere Torso, Nero’s Grand Porphyry Basin, the Hercules of the Theater of Pompey, the tapestry and map galleries… the list goes on. We were very grateful for all of the historical and cultural context Davide had to offer — and with a great sense of humor, to boot! If you plan to visit, try to start early in the day when the crowds are at their most manageable, and definitely consider having a guide!

Great mix of tour and individual exploration time. The small group size (about 20) was ideal. We saw much larger groups in both destinations and really appreciated our ability to move around them and through town more easily. Our guide, Lorenzo, was personable and knowledgeable. Mike, our driver, was charming and safely navigated through the high traffic. They are both so good at their jobs and we really appreciated spending the day with them.

We thoroughly enjoyed our private tour at the Uffizi gallery with Anastasia. She was incredibly knowledgeable about all the artwork and gave us suggestions on other museums rooms to visit after the tour was over. Her English was exemplary, and we felt truly lucky to have her as our guide.

Very positive experience. The guide was very informative The bus was very comfortable. I would recommend that signs be placed at the pickup meeting place to easily identify your particular tour as there are several other bus tour operators at the same pickup point.

Anastasia was a very knowledgeable and extremely interesting guide Having a small group was definitely helpful as anyone was able to ask a question and get it answered immediately. Definitely would recommend this tour and especially if possible to request Anastasia as your guide.

A highlight of our entire trip. Jessica really brought Renaissance history to life for us - the context she provided for the art, buildings and landmarks we saw deepened our understanding and appreciation enormously. Knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate, she provided a wonderful introduction to Florence. My husband and I both agreed it was one of the best things we did on our trip. We can’t recommend her highly enough.
