The Acadamie was less...

The Acadamie was less crowded than we feared and we were able to spend as much time as we wanted viewing not only the Michelangelo David but other unfinished works (the prisoners), Stradivarius instruments, and early piano forte, among other exhibits. Our guide was knowledgeable and engaging.

Pompeii is vast and...

Pompeii is vast and amazing. This tour provided a dedicated historian for our tour. Luca was amazing and brought a 2000 year old town to life for our tour. Lunch was very good and view was amazing. Finally, the hike up Vesuvius is what you expect: gravel, heat and long. Take your time and probably 95% of people can complete the ascent. Note: there are 3 different stores near top of volcano to purchase refreshments. So do not hoard your water on ascent! Finally, our guide for the day was. Rafaela. Very helpful, informative, and took charge as needed.

A great day! Our guide, Lorenzo, was charming, knowledgeable, and had a good sense of humor. Our driver, Mike, masterfully navigated the bus through tiny streets. The winery lunch was delicious and handled dietary restrictions well. It was a good blend of structured tour and free time. I’d highly recommend this tour.

We had a great day touring Sorrento, Amalfi and Positano with Giovanna. She did an amazing job! Not only was she an excellent driver, but she also pointed out interesting places and shared information along the way that made the trip even more enjoyable. The driving in this area is not for the faint of heart, and we were so impressed with how confidently and safely she navigated the busy streets and winding roads. We loved this exceptional early bird tour of the Uffizi with Fabio! He was a very knowledgeable and fun guide, navigating us away from the other tourists to view the incredible Uffizi art more closely. Fabio provided us with the key achievements of art history, leading to the Renaissance. He also recommended that we visit Santa Croce and the Bargello Museum, which we diid! (These places were lovely, with less tourists. ) This was a wonderful tour of the Uffizi, first thing in the morning. A true bucket list experience!

Very good overview of Florence, its history, and Michelangelo's developmental years in Florence. Our Guide Christina was really knowledgeable and enthustiastic even though I'm sure she gave this tour a hundred times and the streets were hot and crowded. So glad we booked this tour!

Fantastic day in Rome!

GREAT way to see the major sites in a short amount of time! We were only going to be in Rome for a day - so this was perfect!!! The guides were lovely and knowledgeable, and the driver was extremely attentive and knowledgeable as well!! The whole day was lovely - would highly recommend to others!!!!! The day is planned very well- packing a lot into a short amount of time. We loved Eliza who was just so knowledgeable about Rome and it's history!!! She spent the morning with us at the Colosseum and the Forum. Then we had lunch at a lovely little cafe - very good pasta!! The afternoon was at the Vatican with Francesca who clearly is a pro! So nice to skip all of the lines and walk right in - and she knew all of the shortcuts!!! Alfred was our driver - and such a wonderful person! He took great care of us for the day and went the extra mile to make certain we saw everything along the way that was of importance to us. All in all - a wonderful day!!! Worth every penny!

Incredibly amazing!!

This tour was absolutely incredible. Our tour guide Eleanor was amazing in explaining each detail of the Saint Peter Basilica and the Sistine Chapel and gave extensive knowledge on each thing about its history and the background as well as the artist. Along with all the knowledge she was also able to keep us engaged the whole 3 hours. I would definitely recommend this tour and especially Eleanor.
