Tastings are 25 euro each and not included in price of tour. We will enjoy stunning views, visit a 5000 year old olive tree and eat in a local restaurant. Optionally we could do beer tasting, visit Gonia monastery, Maleme airfield and the WW2 military cemetery. Elafonissi Beach Elafonissi is located 76km west of Chania in the southwestern most point of Crete. Elafonisi is an oblong, which often "breaks" in two parts by water giving the impression of being a separate island. Elafonissi is a “Natura 2000” protected area. The island is full of dunes with sand lilies and junipers (like-cedar trees). The endangered turtles Caretta-Caretta and several rare animals nest on the island and it is strictly forbidden to remove any plants, animals from the area. Exotic beach with white sand and turquoise waters, reminding of the Caribbean, are formed on either sides of the peninsula. The sand is pinkish in many places, taking its color from thousands of broken shells.

Hands down, one of my...

Hands down, one of my favorite experiences in Crete! We started the day exploring Agia Sofia Cave in the rain and mist, then made our way through the mountains to Elafonissi Beach, where the weather completely transformed into the most magical beach day! Elafonissi absolutely lives up to the hype! Crystal-clear, calm waters, breathtaking scenery, and genuinely one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever visited. I'd go back in a heartbeat and spend several days there! Our guide was wonderful and knowledgeable, and major kudos to our driver for navigating those winding mountain roads! The only downside was having to wait about an hour on the bus for other travelers whose ferry was delayed by bad weather. A little frustrating, but otherwise an incredible experience. Highly recommend! Just remember that group tours operate on a shared schedule. If flexibility matters to you, consider a private tour. Either way, Elafonissi is an absolute MUST!

Fabulous food tour with some sightseeing and history thrown in

Really great experience, we tried a good variety of foods - gyros, olives, cheese, meats and dips, gelato and more. Our guide Adonis was fabulous he shared lots of interesting information about Chania and it's history as we walked stopping off to look at buildings and landmarks along the way and we finished to a mezze of delicious plates at a lovely cafe/restaurant in a picturesque square. So much more than a food tour and excellent value, you won't regret booking this, highly recommended!

Engaging guide and memorable lunch

Our guide, Dimitrios, was absolutely amazing. He was extremely, friendly, engaging and knowledgeable, providing us with lots of history and interesting facts about the area. There were 6 tourists on this tour - a nice sized group. The highlight of this tour for me was lunch at Milia mountain retreat - it was such a beautiful and unique location with an impressive history and the food was absolutely delicious. I was a little disappointed that Elafonisi beach was so crowded in October but this was out of the control of the tour guide - he got us there early and ensured we had good sun beds, but it didn’t take long for the beach to become very crowded. However, it’s a lovely beach with crystal clear water and some cool rock formations- if you don’t mind crowds you will love it.

Delightful rustic evening

The hosts Sophia and Maneleo were kind, accommodating and fun. We had a transport mixup - arrived an hour late in the rain., but they carried on. We set right to cooking - chopping, dicing, mixing and into clay pots for the fire. we milked goats and experienced real sustainability. They grow everything they eat including making their own wine and Raki. It is raining so we forego the tour of the olive groves in favor of a visit with their YiaYia who lives just up the road. The food is freah amd tasty, the mandolin playing a nice touch and the conversation delightful. Would recommend. Its a rustic evening in the mountains .

Such a fun way to experience Crete!

We did the quad tour during our honeymoon in Crete and had an absolute blast! It was such a fun change of pace and gave us a completely different way to experience the island. The tour was incredibly well organized, and we felt comfortable and taken care of throughout the entire experience. The scenery was beautiful, the riding was so much fun, and we loved getting away from the typical tourist experience and seeing another side of Crete. We packed a LOT into our honeymoon throughout Greece, and this was definitely one of those experiences that stood out. If you’re looking for something adventurous, memorable, and a little different while visiting Crete, absolutely add a quad tour to your trip. Cave, beach and food were all amazing!

This tour is full of beautiful sights along the way. The honey & olive oil tasting was delicious while learning how it was made. The stop at the cave was the highlight for me. Note: it is over 200 steps to reach the cave, with very uneven steps. So, if you or someone in your group has difficulty walking, they have the choice to wait in the air conditioned van. The view from the cave is breathtaking. Inside, you will take a path that shows many views. After the cave, we went to a beach which is also a long walk, but beautiful, clear water. The water depth is mostly 2-3 feet but does have areas where it reaches approx. 4 -5 ft. It’s great for children because the water has movement but not strong waves. You can relax and float in the water or lay in the sandy beach. The last stop was the winery, with a variety of tastings, which also included grape syrup and olive oil to dip breads and salted olives. Everything was delicious! You can purchase anything you like to take home! We really enjoyed the entire day! Also, our ship time at the port was not as long as the tour, but our guide was able to shorten our stops yet still fit everything in and get us back on time which we really appreciated!!
