Great day out

It was a superb day from start to finish. A small group of 14 led by our guide Martin who was very knowledgeable and keen to share his experiences and knowledge. Everything was timed to perfection we got picked up in Calgary at 750am and returned at 535pm. Lunch (not included in price) was fine but you needed to be quick if you wanted to sit in the restaurant, going at this time of year I felt it was needed.

Don't think twice -- this is an awesome tour!

This tour was worth every penny we spent on the experience. Liam was an exceptional guide with extensive knowledge of the area. A Perfect Day

We had a perfect day. Rob our guide was excellent, knowledgeable and funny. We had a good group of 8 that were on time so Rob was able to make a few extra stops. He also knew how crowded some areas get, so instead of waiting in traffic, we went later in the day and got right in. The lakes were gorgeous and we saw the mountains reflecting in the water. Got history, local info as all were from US. I had some issues with steps so Rob was able some alternate paths so I could get the most out of stops. Loved it,

No Frills East Tour

==THE TOUR== Our driver/mini-guide, Red, was terrific. He is an excellent driver and very safety-minded. He provided minimal guidance for the trails and as an independent traveler, I REALLY appreciated not having a guide who accompanied us the entire time. At each stop, Red told us what we needed to know and what to expect at each site. Each stop was roughly 70-80 minutes, which was plenty for me. (I easily hiked around 3km at each stop but I am a hiker and trail runner.) If you're looking for safe transportation to/from Lakes Louise and Moraine, this is your tour. ==ADDITIONAL LOGISTICS TO CONSIDER== For those of you driving to Banff for the tour, be prepared to pay the (roughly) 13 CAD per person park entrance fee. The town of Banff is inside the national park. Look for parking structures that offer free parking and be very judicious about street parking in Banff. The Mount Royal pick-up location does NOT have a bathroom nearby so plan accordingly! The nearest public toilet is about a 10 min walk, roundtrip, from Mount Royal. (Not sure about the train station pick-up.) Please remember to not litter. Even if it "slips" put of your hand/pocket/bag, please remember that wildlife will try to eat it. Saw lots of thrown tissues, food wrappers, and some plastic bottles on the trail. Please be mindful of your refuse and take it back out with you.

An absolute must

This tour was exactly what we needed for this area. It was so smooth and easy to get to all of the locations. Our tour guide Heather was right on time. She was warm and kept things moving along with a sense of purpose and humor. Heather provided running commentary in between stops and good insight on how to explore our stops once we arrived. She was a very careful driver and followed all rules of the road. We felt comfortable and well taken care of.... Families and couples were very compatible and respectful of each other. Great trip

Great last second booking. Booked the morning of. Driver (name started with an S) was really good. There was a couple that made us delayed 3 different times. Overall delay was an hour combined. They need to be more strict with people or be willing to leave them behind. Bring cash for tips too as driver didn’t have digital methods to tip.

Spectacular scenery

Breathtaking views, well organized, and a lovely experience overall. We got some excellent coffee at the top and we walked the boardwalk all the way to the observatory. The boardwalk steps were not too challenging, even though we increase our elevation. It didn’t feel strenuous. Definitely worth the effort to go all the way to the top.

Majestic!

This trip was perfect for getting to experience this area of the Rockies. The view is exactly as shown on the website. Scott our tour guide was very knowledgeable. I like the fact that he provided walkie talkies to stay in contact with him. Dressing in layers would be a good idea and comfortable walking shoes are essential. Getting to see Lake Moraine from the top is spectacular but somewhat challenging if someone has mobility issues. I definitely would recommend this tour.

Highly recommend!

Easy drive from Banff. Wonderful, spectacular views. Loved the Minnewanka moment of silence. Tho would have like a bit more. We were lucky enough to hear a loon! Saw an eagle bur no other wildlife. Stopped at Two Jack and Johnson lakes driving back to banff. Matt and Vik did a great job. Thanks to Vik for suggesting sunshine gondola! We loved it.
