What are people saying about Zurich

Must do when in Zurich
This was a great experience! Carlos is an amazing tour guide- very hospitable, knowledgeable, accommodating, and friendly. I mean every stop was beautiful and every photograph taken was out of a picture book. I don’t think if we booked this trip by ourselves, we would have the same incredible experience. Absolutely phenomenal! You must try when you visit here. And ask for Carlos to be your tour guide. He’s the best!

Great day in Zurich
Perfect way to see Zurich by foot, boat, train, and cable car. Greg was a wonderful guide because he shared information about sights, history, transportation with a sense of humor. Bonus- he gave each guest a chocolate as a souvenir. We had a day in Zurich and we left the tour with a good sense of the city, the citizens and history of the country. We enjoyed walking in old town, seeing a Roman fort, Lake Zurich and Felsenberg. The ferry ride was beautiful. We took a cable car after the ferry to a local park with spectacular views of Lake Zurich. Highly recommend this tour.

How to Survive 12 Hours with Kids: Just Add Mountains and a Hilarious Guide
Listen, if you’re looking for a way to spend 12 hours without a single "Are we there yet?" from the kids, this is the golden ticket. We took our family of four on this whirlwind tour, and honestly, it was worth every single Swiss franc. Our driver was the definition of professional—smooth, punctual, and clearly possessed some kind of mountain-driving wizardry. Then there was our guide, who was basically a human Wikipedia page but with much better jokes. They kept us entertained for the full half-day stretch, which is no small feat when you have two kids in tow! The scenery is so perfect it feels like you’re living in a desktop wallpaper. We didn’t see all 72 waterfalls in Lauterbrunnen—we clocked about 5 or 6—but let’s be real, after the sixth one, you’re basically an expert anyway! Each one was more stunning than the last, and the group of people we traveled with was just lovely, which made the atmosphere feel like a big family outing. Grindelwald and Interlaken were just as magical; I’m pretty sure my camera shutter is still smoking from all the photos I took. Why is Switzerland so great? Well, the flag is a big plus! But seriously, the level of organization was top-tier. Everything happened exactly when it was supposed to, which kept the "travel stress" at zero. If you’re worried about a 12-hour day being too long, don’t be. Between the guide’s exceptional stories and the jaw-dropping views, the time flies faster than a Swiss watch. If you want a trip that’s professionally handled but feels like you’re hanging out with a knowledgeable friend, this is the one. Just watch out for the chocolate in Interlaken—it’s a delicious, delicious trap!

Not seeing something you are looking for?

Zurich is one of Switzerland's most popular destinations among travelers, and with good reason, thanks to its lakeside Old Town and range of museums. But there's much more of Switzerland to see, be it Jungfraujoch and Mt. Pilatus in the mountains of the Swiss Alps with their cogwheel trains and cable cars, or other picturesque lakeside destinations such as Lucerne and Interlaken. You can visit these places and others on a Zurich day trip, allowing you to maximize your time in Switzerland while avoiding planning and navigating.
