Begin with a pickup from your accommodation in Victoria Falls. Head to the iconic Big Tree, a colossal baobab estimated to be over 1,000 years old. Take time to walk around and photograph the famous baobab known locally as the “Big Tree” — one of the oldest and largest in the region. Your guide will explain its cultural and ecological importance. Next, enter the rainforest at the main gate and explore all 16 iconic viewpoints at a comfortable pace. See the Main Falls, Devil’s Cataract, Horseshoe Falls, and more. Learn about the geological formation, seasonal differences in water volume, wildlife, flora, and fauna in the rainforest, local myths, and explorer history. Unlike group tours, you can stop longer at the viewpoints you enjoy most, take breaks, ask in-depth questions, or adjust your route. After the tour, your guide will escort you back to your hotel or lodge.

Livingstone Island and Devils/Angels Pool headline this half-day shared Victoria Falls tour, with groups capped at 15 travelers. Pickup is available in Victoria Falls or at Victoria Falls Airport, and the route can end in Victoria Falls or Livingstone. Coffee and tea are provided. Although these dinner cruises depart about one hour later than the standard sunset cruises, they stay out after sunset. So when all the other sunset cruises have come back to shore, these cruises stay out on the river and that's when dinner is served. We like this activity, as you get to experience the magnificent Zambezi River, as you would on an afternoon cruise, and you get served a delicious dinner. This combination represents real value for money.
