Great tour guide!

Good fun cycling around Yogyakarta! Lots of information about the local history and saying hi to locals. The cycling is a bit harrowing since you'll be cycling on the main roads and small alleyways with cobblestone, so I recommend having decent confidence on a bike before booking this; maybe recommend a little city biking experience. Otherwise it could be scary. The guide was very helpful though! She was great. She made all the history interesting. I loved stopping by the local market and trying some snacks and drinks (included in the tour).

This is a must do experience in Yogyakarta! Don't be intimidated by the traffic. Our tour guide did a wonderful job leading us on a route down alleys and side streets without traffic. It was amazing to see Yogya from the back of the bike. We stopped at markets, met a traditional baker, learned some history and culture along the way. An amazing time, well worth the early start.

Our flight was delayed and we couldn’t make it on time. We notified MOANA from the airport and from the ride to our hotel several times of what’s going on and kindly requested a cancellation and refund. MOANA replied that they “do not accept cancellations due to delays, bad weather, health reasons and others”. MOANA basically pocketed our US$98 without providing any service. We understand companies have cancellation policies. However, the delay was out of our control. MOANA could have offered a cancellation fee which is perfectly understandable and worked out an agreement with the customer. Instead, MOANA send us via Whatsup a link to their web site and a message with VIATOR 24 hour cancellation policy. Extremely disappointed with MOANA’s customer service. This was an unpleasant surprise in an otherwise great travel experience in Indonesia.
