Well organized tour, there is enough time to visit Borobudur entirely, and then 1 hour or so time for a relaxed lunch before visiting the whole Prambanan complex of temples. Maxi, our guide contacted us the night before, confirming the trip, and he was waiting for us when we deboarded. His laugh, attitude and knowledge were great. It made it visit to Borobudur including the drive from and back to the cruise port, including a visit to a Batik shop, a great experience that we will never forget.

A Tour Worth Opting For

The volcano experience was stunning, whereas the Borobudur part wasn't as intriguing for me due to the weather which was aggravated by the tour guide stopping every now & again to explain about the history of it in scorching heat weather. All in all, definitely worth it though.
