Today we went on an extensive bus tour of Vancouver. Our guide was Michael, who was extremely knowledgeable and very humorous. The tour was fascinating, taking in Stanley Park and Granville Island (where we had an excellent lunch). If you want to see as much of Vancouver as you can in one day, I would thoroughly recommend this tour.

Our Victoria and Butchart Gardens Day Trip from Vancouver was a wonderful experience. The smaller group format was extremely helpful logistically and made the day feel much more enjoyable, comfortable, and engaging. Sam, our driver and guide, was knowledgeable, professional, and entertaining. He did a great job engaging with everyone on the tour and sharing helpful information throughout the day. Although it was a long day, which was expected, the overall experience was absolutely worth it. This is a great day trip to add to your Vancouver itinerary.

A perfect outing Henry, Andrew and The Captain were terrific! Beautiful views of False Creek and English Bay, with commercial and recreational traffic. Smooth ride and comfortable. Very much enjoyed the commentary and questions answered. Couldn't have been better Also got restaurant & local site recommendations from the crew that were very good. It's neat way to see more of the city and learn some history along the way. I was a little worried about being able to hear well enough but our guide, Christopher Salt, projected well.! The tour was engaging and the detail Christopher put into his character and costume (down to his drinking flask rather than some other container) was great. Anyone who can navigate through crowds of extra people and keep character during World Cup celebrations deserves 5 stars. I, too have a college degree in theatre (technical design and direction) and appreciated each detail and delivery. I only wish there had been more history shared. Well done!!

Lovely day out..

We had a fabulous experience on the Sea to Sky Gondola tour! Our driver, Eion, was amazing. He kept us safe throughout the trip and was very informative. While he’s not a tour guide, he provided a wonderful narrative experience that made the journey even more enjoyable. Our first stop was Shannon Falls, which was beautiful. We then headed to the Sea to Sky Gondola. Once we reached the top, the views were absolutely incredible! There is a restaurant area and a small suspension bridge to walk across. We spent about 1.5 hours there, which was the perfect amount of time to take everything in. After that, we drove to Whistler and stopped in Whistler Village. It’s a very pretty place with lots of shops and restaurants. We spent three hours there, which I personally felt was a little long, but if you’re a shopper, you’ll probably love it. I can also imagine it would be an amazing experience in the winter watching all the skiers. Overall, it was a fantastic day, and I highly recommend this tour. And if you get Eion as your driver, that’s definitely a bonus!

Excellent Day with King Charles!!!

Charles was exceptional- excellent driver, fascinating conversation, he seems to know everyone along the way- the Mayor or King Charles!! We had such fun with him. The company was excellent with all of my questions, our change in tour date, and flexibility with our schedule. We had such a great time we didn’t want it to end. Charles took us to off the beaten path locations, a fabulous donut shop, Shannon Falls is stunning. Clean and comfortable vehicle with plenty of room for our luggage and passengers. It was an orientation to the city tour, went to Stanley Park and stopped, Granville Island and stopped. Sam is not only an excellent tour guide, but he does magic tricks! Really excellent ones! He gave insights to the history of the city, told stories and answered a zillion questions. All while driving and working out some logistics issues. Absolutely worth it and an easy pick up!

Had a whale of a time!

Seaplane is such a cool way to travel - definitely an experience! You get such fantastic views and the service from Harbour Air is superb. The whale watching:… wow! So I’ve been on numerous whale watching trips in different parts of the world but this one delivered more than any other! Jake, our captain, knew exactly where to take us for incredible whale encounters. We saw 2 humpbacks and then a spectacular pod of orcas entertained us for a solid twenty minutes. Absolutely the best whale watching trip I’ve ever done. You have a choice of either the zodiac or the cruiser - I was on the zodiac and recommend it if you don’t mind a few wee bumps ◡̈
