Day Trips from Sydney to Katoomba

The only Blue Mountains private tour that takes you off the beaten track to see WILD kangaroos in their natural habitat — not in a wildlife park, no entry fee, no fences. We visit a secret guide spot near Windsor where the mob has been visiting for years, with 8,000-year-old Aboriginal rock engravings on the same sandstone outcrop and a 150-year-old colonial farm next door. Then explore Old Windsor (founded 1810) and the Macquarie Arms Hotel — the oldest surviving pub and hotel in Australia (built 1815). Plus the iconic Three Sisters from a quieter lookout away from coach-tour crowds. 290 km of hidden Blue Mountains routes. Two variants: 8 hours with optional Scenic World, or 9 hours with a 3 km Wentworth Falls clifftop hike. Created by Andrew Sorokin, licensed Sydney guide since 2006.
