Don’t miss the animal park. Australia has so many unique animals. Feed the kangaroos. The Blue Mountains are stunning. Our amazing guide James knew exactly where to go for excellent views. He’s very knowledgeable of the area. He went out of his way to make sure we received the tour we wanted.

Our driver James was interesting and informed. It was a bit difficult finding him at the cruise port but he worked hard to connect with us. We went to Featherdale Animal Wildlife park and then on to the Blue Mountains as we had requested. Very enjoyable experiences and then he dropped us off at our hotel which made things easy for us.

Our private tour with Rene was excellent. He arrived on time in a clean Honda Odyssey. We were very comfortable. He had plenty of water, an extra walking stick, umbrellas and more. The day was ours to do as we preplanned, or modify as needed. His driving and guiding skills were exceptional. Rene took many photos of us, and fun videos too. He accompanied us everywhere and we really appreciated that too. We highly recommend Rene and his guiding skills.

This was an amazing day trip and Rene, our tour guide and driver, made it a very memorable one. Our group of 7 were able to catch all the sights, have plenty of time at each place, get into Katoomba Village for a hot lunch on a rainy afternoon, and went home with Instagram worthy pics and videos Rene is so talented at taking !
Individually each part of the itinerary is a must do, especially if you have just a short time in Sydney as we did.
But with Rene, your trip will be fun and memorable too! Ask for him, if you plan to do this!

It is a nice itinerary, with stops at an animal park and Scenic World in the spectacular Blue Mountains. The animal park, Featherdale, was a bit of a let down--the slow line to take a photo with the koala was not tenable given the length of the visit, and the park staff kept allowing a family to cut in line to re-take their pictures. We greatly appreciated the tour operator refunding the fee for the photo opp, since we were not able to wait in line for it.

It is am extremely busy time of year in Sydney in early January and I am sorry that the line for the Koala photo was badly managed that day by the park staff.

Beautiful scenery and clean vehicle. James, our driver was friendly. Being right before New Year's, all of the sights were very crowded. Glad he was having to deal with the traffic and finding parking and not us. Private tours are definitely the way to go.

This was a wonderful day tour of the Blue Mountains area. Our guide Rene took us to individual stops that I bet the big tour buses do not go. Just my wife and I in a private car with a wonderful driver. He helped us by taking so many memorable pictures too.

For our tour, our driver and guide Max picked us up in Sydney and took us to the Blue Mountains. We spent most of our time in Scenic World in the Blue Mountains, but Max also took us to several lookout points in the Blue Mountains outside of Scenic World. He also took us to the town of Leura in the Blue Mountains for a short visit. The tour was well organized and worked exactly as we had hoped. Max was very flexible, helpful, and informative throughout the tour.

Our driver was great , knowledgeable and friendly. We had a private tour with him and it was amazing since we got to do activities at our own pace. Our guide was very accommodating, we had an overall amazing time . I would do it again !

I have a bad knee and limited ability to hike or do stairs. Really appreciated the efforts to put together a full day of fantastic views and activiities that worked with my limitations. Overall incredibly friendly, helpful, on time and a great job

James was a fantastic tour guide! He was knowledgeable and fun but also would let us explore on our own. Having a private tour was great because we got to customize how long we stayed at each location. We were able to hike ~40mins at the first lookout but only 5-15mins at the other lookouts (that is my only feedback is that I wish it was more hiking heavy but there is a lot to see/fit in). Beautiful mountains and fun history! We took the ferry back into Syndey which was a fun ending. Sounds like the add ons for the zoo and cable car are cool too but we focused more on the hiking so didnt have time.

Mike was a fantastic tour guide. We loved Featherdale Wildlife Park and he took us to so many wonderful lookout points in the Blue Mountains! He even found kangaroos in the wild for us to see! It was a great day and I highly recommend this tour!

The views are breathtaking.. you need to have a guided tour with an active guide who shows you the way around cause there are a lot of things to discover

Unfortunately I was not available for your tour, and we do usually tailor the tours to the preferences of the guests.....that is more bush walking or more sightseeing, both are no problem.

Mike collected us promptly from our hotel and took us to the Blue Mountains. All of the listed stops were attempted but unfortunately the visibility wasn’t great due to low cloud. He did his best to get away from the weather though which was great.
The Scenic World addition is a must-do in my opinion and worth the top-up fee.
Mike took us to lunch at a “veterans” venue which was great as 3 of us previously served in the Armed forces.
The ferry back into Sydney was wonderful and better than sitting in traffic.
I would have preferred slightly more information during the journey, especially during the drive out. Mike dropped in a few snippets but I would have preferred more (but this is just my preference).
Thanks again Mike - and we would definitely recommend this private tour.
