What are people saying about Sydney

A Sydney highlight
A must do experience when visiting the Sydney Opera House. When we were in Sydney in 2015 we weren't able to fit in the Sydney Opera House so we knew it was a must do this time. And with the chance to have lunch it was a no brainer.
The Tour
Booked the 12 noon slot. Very well organized. Easy to get your actual ticket. Large bags are not allowed.
Our tour guide was excellent (unfortunately cant remember her name - she was from the England). She was informative, fun and kept our large group moving. The. Opera House itself is amazing. It may be so from the outside but inside just as impressive. So much to learn. We were taken into two of the theatres. If people are on stage you can't take photos.
Lunch
When we booked it stated that you could choose from three venues. In fact in our case there were two. Midden and the cafe. The main thing about lunch is that there is a fixed menu. We were planning on eating at Midden however their menu did not appeal to us so we ended up the cafe and it was excellent. I had the BBQ lemon grass pork chop and my husband the burger. All washed down with a rather nice beer.
By the way if I remember correctly you don't have to have lunch at the time of the tour you can take it up to 5 pm I think so you could make it an early dinner. Whenever you go it will be busy.
This experience can also be booked direct through the Opera House website and it may be cheaper. We tend to use Viator for ease.

Yo ho- yo ho!
Such a unique experience on the Sydney Harbor! We had an enjoyable afternoon out in the harbor on this unique 1800s ship. We got lucky cause there was only a group of 10 of us, so we basically had the entire ship to ourselves. We met the captain and the crew, but our tour guide was great! He was quite the historian, and gave us so much interesting information and stories of the area. We also got to help the crew with the ails which was a lot of fun! They offered us beverages and capers which made for a super nice voyage out and then back under the bridge before returning to the dock.

Good way to start before exploring the Rocks District on your own!
A terrific way to learn the history of Sydney, when it was founded, by whom, and how. Provides a good perspective as you walk around the Rocks District and view the different buildings and streets. Our guide was a skilled storyteller and very knowledgeable. He showed us sights and places that we probably would not have come by on our own.

Fun in Sydney
Great tour of Sydney highlights. We didn’t have a lot of time and wanted to see as much as possible. We didn’t the 6 hour private tour and it was perfect! Our guide, Leisa, was friendly and knowledgeable and a great guide. She took us to cool places and explained the history of the areas we explored. We walked across the Sydney Harbor Bridge, visited several areas around the City and had a fantastic lunch of fish & chips at Doyls. She even recommended a store where we could buy a rugby jersey for our son. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Sydney!

Highly recommended
This was a really great trip. I’ve lived in Sydney for 68 years and saw things I’d never seen before. The guy who was giving the commentary was very good and informative.
It happened to be the 125th celebration of the Australian Navy and we were quite close to the ships that came in for the celebration.
It was a great trip.

Amazing evening on the harbor
This sunset cruise was a highlight of our trip and everything we hoped it would be! Pickup was prompt and easy to locate, and the group size is small enough that you have what feels like a totally personal experience. You're able to bring you own wine and they provide cups and snacks. The boat has both indoor and outdoor options but we were able to sit outside for the duration of the trip and see all the sights from a new perspective. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a special Sydney excursion!

A great day in Sydney before our cruise departure!
The tour was absolutely perfect, exactly what we wanted for a quick tour covering the highlights of Sydney. We covered a lot of ground in the limited time we had but saw everything we wanted to see. Julian was exceptional, very knowledgeable and accommodating to our questions and needs. He gave us suggestions for things we could do in the afternoon on our own. Thank you!

Excellent experience
You have a choice of cocktails for your 1st included drink; not a one size fits all. I had the Margarita and it was top notch. The second included drink is a choice of 2 beers or 3 types of wine so something for every taste. The charcuterie board was also top notch; much better than I expected and definitely enough for 2 people. You are assigned a table but are free to walk around; go up on deck to see the sights with your drink and then come back down to enjoy your charcuterie. No worries about something being taken away while you’re gone. We had a beautiful clear, warm evening so spent a lot of time on the upper deck enjoying the skyline. You do have to download the narration if you want to hear about the different sights along the way but that was actually a plus so you don’t have to listen to an annoying narration over the intercom. Instead, you listen to an onboard lovely vocalist and small band. It was a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours.

Lots of fun.
Oz Jet Boating was fantastic fun. Very focused on safety and fun. The ride was thrilling and the view of the harbour great. Got very wet but we were told this would happen. Recommend using the longer spray coats to stay a bit drier. A great way to see some of the harbour. Would love to do it again.

A Relaxing Cruise with Beautiful Harbour Views
We enjoyed a pleasant afternoon on the Sydney Harbour high tea cruise. The views of the Harbour were beautiful and, of course, being out on the water is always special. It’s a lovely way to take in the scenery and enjoy some time relaxing.
The atmosphere was nice and comfortable, and the service was smooth. The food and drinks were enjoyable, though fairly standard for a high tea experience. Overall, it was a nice outing with beautiful views — a good option if you’re looking for a relaxed way to see the Harbour.

Outstanding Private Harbour Experience
This private boat tour was a highlight of our time in Sydney. The harbour views were spectacular, and the small group size allowed the captain to provide personalized commentary and share deep knowledge of the area. A wonderful way to experience Sydney from the water — highly recommend.

Well worth the extra cost to be with a small group
Brilliant tour! A small group - 3 crew and 14 passengers. We saw a small group of whales - 2 adults and one baby. They showed themselves about 5 times altogether, but ones time they were only about 15 - 20 metres away. Great photo opportunities! The weather was dry but a bit breezy, which was quite pleasant.
