Vasa Museum Tour with Rufus
Rufus connects the dots in a way that makes the Vasa much more than a shipwreck. He ties together the ship’s symbolism, Swedish history and politics, the ambitions of King Gustavus Adolphus, and the lives of the people on board. Highly recommend if you want to get beyond the usual museum tour.

Stockholm Food Tour
This was a fun way to spend some time in Stockholm. The tour guide (David) was knowledgeable, personable and clearly enjoyed talking about Sweden and the food scene. The weather was nasty but he made it fun! We were also lucky to be joined by others on the tour who ere fun!

Great Overview of Gamla Stan
Our guide Lova was wonderful! Friendly, knowledgeable and had much to share as we made our way around the old town. Really helped us with an overview of Stockholm and provided ideas about how to prioritize the rest of our visit. Highly recommend this tour and Lova in particular.

Fantastic food tour.
This was a 4 hour Swedish food extravaganza. Our guide, Oliver, was funny and had so much knowledge of local food and history. From start to finish, it was an interesting experience. There were so many new food experiences that we’d never had and were happy to try. Highly recommend this tour, great value and a special finish (we stayed on at the last destination for another hour!)

Just like the Swedish capital, Stockholm tours combine dynamic city living with nature escapes. Stroll the colorful squares and cobblestone streets of the medieval Old Town, then enjoy the ritual of fika, or a coffee and sweets break, with your local guide. A Baltic Sea archipelago, Stockholm may be even better explored by the water. Take a kayak or boat ride between the islands’ traditional fishing cottages, centuries-old fortresses, and the restored sunken Vasa warship. If you’d prefer to go further off the grid, visit Stockholm’s nearby forests and meadows to hike among Viking runes, boar, and elk.
