Ben Lawers National Nature Reserve

Ben Lawers National Nature Reserve is good for hillwalkers, botany buffs, and photographers.
There are no bathrooms in the national nature reserve. Killin is off the A827 west of Ben Lawers, and Kenmore is off the A827 east of Ben Lawers: both have public bathrooms.
You’ll need insurance and written permission to fly a drone in Ben Lawers National Nature Reserve.
Exercise caution around cattle, particularly when calves are present.
Highland mountains aren’t high by global standards, but changeable weather makes rescues and even fatalities surprisingly common. Even in summer, hillwalkers should carry waterproofs, multiple layers, emergency rations, a headlamp, a whistle, a map, and a compass, not to mention midge repellent.
Ben Lawers National Nature Reserve is not a good destination for travelers who rely on wheelchairs.
