A wonderful experience...
A wonderful experience from start to finish. Touring Cat Cat Village offered a lovely window into the local culture, while the views from Fansipan were simply breathtaking. We were incredibly lucky to have a clear sky for those stunning panoramic vistas. Our guide, Sumy, was excellent, she took great care of us every step of the way and provided fascinating insights into the heritage of the area. Highly recommended!

Lovely time
Our tour guide Pam/Pang was friendly, informative and so kind. We really appreciated her taking so much time answer all our questions and guiding us through the terrain at our pace.
Our home stay did not have a/c. Although there was a fan we could not endure the heat so we walked across the street and booked a hotel.
We had a lovely visit and would recommend this tour.

Wonderful insight into local life with great guide
We had a wonderful morning with Mai Giang as our tour guide. As a local she gave us a unique insight into life in her village and was happy to answer all our questions about the area. The walk through the valley and village was hugely enjoyable. The cafe and footpath was a lovely treat at the end. Would highly recommend this tour and particularly Mai Giang as a guide. Thank you so much Mai Giang

Excellent service.
Excellent service. We took a car from Hanoi to Sapa. Our driver was right on time to pick us up. He drove well and helped us get to our destination, which was not easy as it was way up in the hills on paths that were barely wide enough for one car. Thank you.

A wonderful journey on motorbike’s
This was an amazing experience! We decided to be passenger to make sure not to miss any view. Tung (guide and Driver) and Trang (second Driver) were very nice, funny, entertaining and open minded. We shared a lot of our different cultural backgrounds. It was a wonderful day. They adjust to what we wanted to view, we wanted to go to small villages and old routes. One of the best tour ever! I highly recommend them.

Duyen was a wonderful...
Duyen was a wonderful host and accommodating of some changes we had to make with regards to the transfer. Linh was an excellent tour guide. We highly recommend booking this private tour - especially if your group has mobility issues/seniors or doesn't want to trek for a long time. We do recommend just booking the day trip and arranging for your own hotel and transfer to Sa Pa.

It was a challenging but...
It was a challenging but nice tour, travelling through Sapa and it’s surrounding villages on a bike was difficult no doubt but it was a once in a lifetime experience…we went through several offbeat villages watching the local life and also to many picturesque touristy spots…our guides Chin and Bin were very friendly and tried to make us as comfortable as possible.

Amazing experience
Mr Tinh was amazing! He was very friendly and hospitable. He picked us up from the hotel, offered us a room to freshen up before taking our overnight bus back to Hanoi, he even dropped us off at the bus station. The guide Mr Choo was so kind and friendly. He checked in with us from time to time throughout the hike! We had a great experience! Thank you Mr Tinh and Choo.

Sapa One day hike
A really great day, we got picked up by foot from our accomodation as it was so close to the start of the walk which was perfect! Lin was our guide and she was amazing, giving us in depth explanations of the different tribes and how they live, the process of how rice is made and showing us first hand through the rice fields. We had a lovely lunch in one of the local villages and even got to grind some corn and try the corn wine also known as happy water. A must do if you’re looking for a one day hike to see the culture behind sapa and its true beauty!

Very pretty alpine town
The village of Sapa was very beautiful - a lot of ladies walking around in traditional clothes. At night the whole town was lit up. The food at the hotel was really good.
On the way to cat-cat village we passed MANY places that rent out traditional clothes - really regret not doing a photo with that. These clothes are not available in town. The walk down to the village has HUNDREDS of steps, so it takes a while and you need good knees.
I could not go on the trek so stayed in town and shopped.
Advice: When you do the sleeper bus booking, make sure you do the "luxury cabin booking" which has curtains and a lot more comfortable.

Perfect Experience from Start to Finish
I’m sorry some folx didn’t have a great experience, b/c ours was absolutely perfect. From our driver, to his car, and the trip overall: everything was smooth & easy.
Tam was our driver. He was at our hotel 15 min early, greeted us with a big smile & two waters, loaded our luggage for us, and gave us a fully charged iPad connected to his Bluetooth so we could play music and videos.
Tam’s car was a nice, clean & spacious Toyota SUV. We could control the AC from our row & our seats reclined all the way back. It was quite a comfortable ride.
We left Old Quarter at 1800 and arrived at 2315. Tam stopped twice, per our request, for bathroom breaks and stretches. Tam’s driving was safe, predictable and reliable and he was a true professional.
In my opinion this was totally worth the money and we’ll do it again!

Sapa tours tend to focus on hikes, homestays, and total cultural immersion in the misty mountain gem of northern Vietnam. Spend days trekking through emerald rice paddies and charming villages, stopping to cook and share lunch with welcoming local host families. For the more adventurous, private treks offer the chance to conquer Mount Fansipan, the “Roof of Indochina,” guided by knowledgeable locals who share stories about the region’s deep history. While these ascents may be challenging, the breathtaking summit vistas make them well worth the effort.
