Our local guid, Nhu was fantastic! Her knowledge of all of the area and villages was great, and we enjoyed not only the walking and culture, but the yummy food at the lunch restaurant. Really really happy with our trek, and our guide!

Amazing tour with Nhu. She was so friendly and told us so many interesting facts. We kept away from the big groups so walking through the mountains and rice fields was serene. Fantastic tour and very well run, highly recommend.

A wonderful walk and great way to learn about Local Vietnamese culture - you definitely need walking shoes it was very muddy and slippery in places however there are plenty of local village women to give you a helping hand

Tons of great views and great points to take pictures!
This is a whole day of hiking step inclines and uneven surfaces. Approximately 6-7 hours of straight hiking. There are stops along the way but make sure you are in good shape physically or there’s no way you will be able to do this tour!
The rice fields at the end were very Beutuful from the mountain above! That was worth it in itself. This was at the end of the tour on the way down the mountain.
The Lunch was amazing and plenty of food!

Excellent trail, beautiful nature, incredible views, and our guide Nhu, a local H'Mong guide, told us about life there and about her family. We were able to try traditional food, which was delicious, including rice from the Sapa terraces. Thank you so much for a great day.

The views on this trek were phenomenal. Our guide was very friendly and always took care of us during the difficult parts of the trek. Keep in mind going up the mountain is not easy, especially on a hot day and coming down to the valley can be difficult when the mud and rocks are slippery. Unfortunately I hurt my legs a bit coming down the mountain but our guide and another local woman helped me finish the descent and take a taxi back to our hotel right after.

I had an awesome time. The trek is quite muddy but that was part of the fun. My guide Jacob was amazing. It was good exercise and beautiful scenery. I would definitely recommend it and do it again!

Had a fantastic tour with TJ today. He was really patient and caring as I took some time to climb up the steep slopes. Learnt quite a bit about the Vietnamese culture. We were also blessed with good weather today and the views were beautiful. Was supposed to go on the track with my friend but she fell sick and the agency was so sweet to get us a gift. Will recommend this trip to anyone who wants to do a hike near Sapa.

The trek was BEAUTIFUL! The hike to the top of the mountain was breath taking. The food was very bland on our stop - I was under the impression we would eat at a local home but we ate at a little restaurant instead and did not get to see a local home. Be prepared for STEEP downhills - my knees were screaming at the end of the hike. Nhur was a great guide, she was so sweet and did her best to explain everything. As a solo traveler, I was a little bummed she spent so much of the trek on her phone leaving me to myself much of the time but overall it was a great experience.

Nhu was very patient and accommodating when my friend was struggling early on the trek (as a novice hiker) and allowed us to switch on to a different, easier route. Allowing us to go slower meant my friend could keep up and enjoy it. (Note pictures are from a different route the activity listed)

Wow! This is an awesome Treking experience! Thanks to Nhu our bubbly guide who helped my girlfriend throughout the trek. She also explained every sights, locations and questions that we asked. Through her we understand the ethics’ culture much better. The lunch village local food is also very tasty and feel as good as the ones we had in Sapa. And what’s more important are the moments and moments of exceptional views that come into our sight. These are just spectacular and is the best I had seen in my Treking in Mount Kota Kinabaru in Malaysia and Mount Batur in Bali. We see the city from the top, the village rice padi fields and right at the cloud view on the top of Hau Tao Mountain. Really feel satisfied and amazed after the whole walks. Will need walking poles for people above 40 like us. Easier on steep areas towards the end. Totally recommend to anyone, even beginners.

Truly amazing experience trekking the mountain, passing by villages, rice terraces and different farm animals. Zo was the best guide! She made us feel comfortable and her English was impressive. Zo shared knowledge about her culture, the different tribes, plants and more. We walked a total of about 20,000 steps or 9 miles, almost half of which was uphill and the other was flat or downhill. It was customizable and Zo was good about pausing for breaks. Overall, glad we went to Sapa for the trek!

we had a wonderful day with Paine (I am writing the name wrong for sure), she did an excellent job walking with us and answering our questions about the local culture. The launch was ok, but that didn’t bother us. If you have three days on Sapa, I would recommend this one on your first day as an introduction. If you have less than 3 days, then you need to decide between it and Fansipan.

A wonderful guide added depth to the trekking experience. Keyni was patient and spoke good enough English to share local knowledge of the place and flora along the trek. Friendly and approachable young chap who adjusted the pace according to the slowest in the group.
We saw a lot of greens and cloud due to the incessant rain. Hence we could not see the valley or the mountain view once we submitted the Dragon Jaw. We realised from the guide that June is a raining season and hence a lousy time to trek. A better time is mar-apr and sept- Oct.
We started at 9 am and reached the village at 2 pm for lunch. Considered slow pace due rain and slippery ground. The trek is manageable for people with basic physical stamina. The youngest in my group is 15 yo and the oldest is 51.
Anyone in hanoi should try sapa trekking.
