What are people saying about Sapa

Breathtaking
We had the best time on the excursion with Achert! He was so knowledgeable about the local area being from one of the villages. He was even nice enough to show us his home and we had the pleasure of meeting his beautiful family. Sapa is one of those places where the pictures really don’t do it justice, you have to live it. This experience really gave us an up close and personal view. I am so happy we chose to do it. Thank you Acho (and I forget our other guides name). You really gave us a truly memorable and unique adventure.

Climb up Fansipan
Our guide was excellent. It was a tough climb up but he was very patient with us and didn't push us to go quicker at any time. We decided to get the cable car down (only approx 10-15% of people have the energy to walk down as well, though the cable car costs approx $45 AUD per person so make sure you take a way to pay with you). Our guide spoke excellent English and we had chats throughout the day. Hotel pickup was smooth and the lunch (bahn mi or noodles) provided by our guide and eaten towards the top of the mountain was delicious and plentiful. Highly recommend but you must have a good level of fitness of tackle it, bearing in mind you climb from approx 2000m above sea level to over 3000m so the altitude can also effect your capacity. Highly recommend.

I had a great time on...
I had a great time on this trip, the walks were beautiful! May was a great tour guide with a lot of knowledge about the local area, she kept us informed with the plan and buses etc. and kept a good pace on the treks so we were not getting tired. The homestay was comfortable and the food was good, be sure to bring plenty of water and snacks.

Thrilling ride and amazing sights
This was a very fun motorbike tour. I was the only one on the tour with the guide. We began with ride from Sapa Stone Church down to Cat Cat Village. Afterward, it was followed by several other villages nearby and down in the valley. Along the way, the scenery was amazing, the weather was good for riding and sightseeing, and the guide did a great job in introducing the villages, including her own. Overall, a must do in Sapa. Some of the roads are quite challenging with rough unpaved surfaces, narrow paths, and steep hills. But without the expert guide leading the way, it was something I would’ve never dare to do on my own.
