We thoroughly enjoyed these tours. As others have mentioned the tour operators in San Pedro tend to help each other out and if numbers are not sufficient you may find another company running the tour. This happened to us once and the quality was lower though still good., Chile Turismo themselves were excellent. The sites are spectacular and the food provided was very good, we had some lovely meals. The guides were also excellent, Natalia and Reinaldo were informative, friendly and helpful, we enjoyed their company. The driving was very safe thanks to their drivers Migeul and Aldo . The communication was also good with WhatsApp groups set up, information shared and pick up times/schedule shared. We felt this booking was good value for money for us, it may be cheaper to walk round San Pedro and book individually, I don't know, we wanted to be sure of our booking before leaving home and did not want to spend holiday time sorting out trips. We had a great time, thanks to our guides, and would recommend Chile Turismo.

Do not book the multi day tour book individual day trips. It's the same tour content and much cheaper.

This 4 day tour is an assembly of day trips by different tour operators. Booking on this site is booking through one of operators who then organises/subcontracts the tours to different companies. This led to inconsistencies in the quality of the tours overall. One day the van was comfortable but then another day the van would have broken seats, a sliding door that couldn't be opened internally, and seats installed so closely together that no one was comfortable as there was no leg room. This matters as there is a lot of driving. That said, the destinations themselves were interesting and the tour guides were energetic and enthusiastic about their work. The English translation of the content of the tour is good as English is a second and sometimes third language for most of the guides but it won't get too technical or complex. Overall I would not recommend booking this "multi day tour" and suggest so.e alternatives. Arrive in San Pedro and visit the various tour operators who are all located on the same main street within a very short walking distance of each other and organise some trips. They all work together anyway and the tour guides all contract to the different operators so you are not particularly advantaged by booking in person as opposed to in advance. Or, if using these booking engines, I would suggest booking each day tour individually. This is because you will save at least US $250 over the total cost of this "multi day tour" by booking each destination as an individual day tour. I know I will do that when I return to Chile.

Fantastic tours! Guides provided updates on the pick-up schedule each day. Meals were tasty and fun. Sights were amazing! I recommend always playing Chilean or South American music on the radio. Most guides played some, but thanks to Cristóbal, I was introduced to Illapu and other Chilean groups I probably would have never heard of. The astronomical tour was cancelled at the last minute because the moon was full. Lunar phases can be predicted centuries in advance, so why include it in the itinerary and get people's hopes up when you know the moon will be full? Not wanting a refund, and through persistence, I found an astrolunar tour that was pretty good. Overall, I was very pleased with all the tours I took.

We had a great experience with Turismo Chile Tours. We did 4 days of excursions with them. Each guide was kind, patient, and taught us a lot about the sights. The food that they offered during the tours was really good. We’d recommend booking your tour with them.

Had a great time with Tourismo Chile Tours! Rodrigo was my main contact and he scheduled all of my activities and updated my schedule as I needed. I was working a couple days while I was in Atacama and it was so helpful to have Rodrigo update my activities according to when I was free when things changed with work. Great service!!! Also all the tours that partner with the agency were great—super beautiful locations with lovely guides

Os passeios são perfeitos, os guias são maravilhosos, agora a agência eu não recomendo Turismo Chile é muito ruim, primeiro não houve comunicação desde que comprei o passeio, tive que reclamar via Viator para eles me retornarem, segundo falaram que estava fechado um dos passeios o vale do arco íris fazendo eu pagar mais 700,00 reais pela troca de outro passeio, e depois fiquei sabendo que o passeio estava funcionando. Sendo assim recomendo fechar os passeios, mas recomendo chegar um dia antes dos passeios, pois existem mais de 100 agências que cobram metade do preço pelos passeios. Mas fora tudo isso o deserto é maravilhoso. Venham

Si el Valle del Arcoíris reabrió después de haber gestionado su cambio, fue una situación fuera de nuestro control. Sobre los precios, cada agencia establece sus tarifas en función de la calidad del servicio, seguridad, vehículos habilitados y guías profesionales. Hay opciones más económicas, pero no todas garantizan los mismos estándares. Es importante considerar estos factores antes de comparar únicamente el precio.
