An excellent, well...

An excellent, well organised tour. Our tour leader, Fritz, was informative, knowledgeable, interesting and funny too. Our minivan comprised of 8 tourists of different nationality (England, America, Australia and New Zealand). We had a lovely stop at a lake before heading to the mountain and our cable car ride to the top and 5 fingers. The view was amazing and we had the pleasure of watching paragliders taking off over our heads. Our last stop was Hallstatt with plenty of time for lunch, trying the local delicacies and exploring (oh and ice cream). A fantastic day was had by all. Thank you.

Sound of Music lovers MUST SEE - many scenes and LOTS of information!

We loved this tour - definitely more for SoM -aficionados, but all can and will enjoy! Connor was a great tour guide and filled all available time with valuable information. He tried to get to know each of the guests on the bus and even called out a few birthdays and anniversaries in our group! We visited so many of the movie sights with lots of information gained at each one! I would only give one small heads up - there are a LOT of people on the bus and so time on/off the bus can feel a bit rushed but it’s totally understandable given the scarce time each group gets at each site!

A great experience

We had a great experience with this company. Everything ran smoothly and exactly on schedule. We were able to skip the line, and the buses were ready and waiting for us when we reached the mountain, which made the whole experience very efficient. We were also fortunate to have magnificent weather, with not a cloud in the sky, making the views even more spectacular. The only thing I would have liked was a bit more time in Berchtesgaden, as that part of the tour felt a little rushed. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend this tour

The Experience of Making Austrian Cuisine

We took our family, which included 2 children (6 and 8). We made apple strudel and salzburger nockerl. While food was baking we had a gulash soup luncheon. The instructors were very informative and helpful. The class was all hands on which made this a great experience.

Two great tours on the same day!

Both of these tours were great! On the Halstatt tour we drove through the beautiful countryside with our guide describing where we were along the way. Halstatt itself is such a beautiful little lakeside town. We were allowed time to explore it on our own, our guide gave us ideas of how we might want to spend our time there. It was so picturesque. Then we returned along a different route. We got back just in time to get on the Sound of Music tour. It was so much fun! Our guide knew so much not only about the movie and the sites where it was filmed, but the whole area we traveled through as well as the actors in the movie and the real Von Trapp family. We sang and had such a wonderful time!

Nice dinner and concert

Very nice dinner and concert at the Salzburg fortress. The dinner was good and in a beautiful, outdoor setting along the castle wall with great views. The concert was great - exceptional string quartet that played classical music from Mozart, Strauss, and others.

Elizabeth- our guide - was excellent, very friendly and approachable and very knowledgeable. She gave us many details and information about the history of the places we visited and at the same time useful info on where to buy and shop authentic gifts and good quality food, visit restaurants and attend interesting concerts and music events. I would highly recommend this walking tour experience. It is a fantastic way to meet Salzburg in only 2 hrs.

Great way to see the alps

This was more or less a transfer service, but we found it very worth it. Halstatt is a gorgeous little town in the alps with insane views and beauty all around. We got lunch, walked around for the best viewpoints, shopped a bit, and still had just enough time to charter an electric boat. Bring cash, as most places don't take credit cards.

Great Day in Hallstatt and the Alps

Had a great time on this tour learning about Austria, Salzburg, and the surrounding areas. Fritz was a great guide. Our tour was a mix of people going to Hallstatt for a half day and people splitting time between Hallstatt and the Five Fingers. I originally signed up for the half day in Hallstatt, but after hearing about the Five Fingers, Fritz let me join that group instead. Hallstatt was great, but going up to the top of the mountain and looking out over the surrounding peaks and valleys on a beautiful day was the right call. And 2 hours in Hallstatt instead of 4 hours was more than enough for me. Great trip and great guide. I highly recommend.

Johannes, our guide, was really knowledgeable. He took the time to bring us around and shared the history of the area, as well as lives of the people living there now. He brought us to a beautiful viewpoint for a photo, as well as recommended a cosy local shop for some schnapps. It was a nice surprise, considering I was only expecting to be brought to the salt mine. My husband and I really enjoyed the trip and will definitely love to bring our children for the trip in the future!

Top evening in Salzburg

This was a lovely experience. Service on the boat and at the dinner was excellent. We enjoyed the boat doing a few Strauss twirls! Dinner was most excellent in the fortress and the concert was superb - such talent and a good mix of shorter classical pieces set in the most stunning room. We were so glad we got to do this - very memorable and totally worth doing!
