We will then reach the tower of Porto Cesareo, a defensive system dating back to the sixteenth century and we will skirt the town's promenade and its beautiful golden beaches. If the sea allows, we will have the opportunity to observe an important site of underwater archaeology: we will observe fascinating Roman columns, lost from a ship during a storm and lying on the sandy bottom of Porto Cesareo since the second century AD.C.
