Today was a small group...

Today was a small group of 10, and our guide—who also acted as the driver—kept introducing the history of Douglas and the Daintree Rainforest along the way. At each stop, we were given time to explore on our own. I accidentally left two pairs of sunglasses at the lunch spot, and the guide kindly arranged for someone to bring them to the next stop and hand them to me. I thought I would lose those two pairs of glasses, since the tour didn’t double back.

We had a fantastic day. Our guide, Ben, was absolutely brilliant and so informative - my 12 year old son said he’s now 10% smarter after spending the day with Ben! Temperatures can reach over 86°F (30°C) in the summer months, so be sure to pack sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses, as well as insect repellent, comfortable shoes, and your swimsuit.
