So pleased we did this. I don’t usually do tours, but this was brilliant! Thanos our guide was so knowledgeable, fun and friendly. Our time at the Perivoli farm experience and cooking class was the most memorable and magical highlight of our entire trip to Naxos! From the moment we stepped onto the beautiful, lush property, our guides, Stamos and Soto, welcomed us with the warmest Greek hospitality that made us feel instantly at home. We loved walking through the vibrant gardens and learning about traditional Naxian agricultural methods and their incredible olive growing process. We even picked fresh eggs that we would soon become our lunch. Our guides walked us through every step of the cooking class patiently, while sharing the time-honored family recipes and the secrets behind the amazing authentic Cycladic flavors. Sitting down to eat the feast we helped prepare, bursting with rich flavors you can only get from freshly picked produce and paired with local wine, was pure heaven. To top off an already perfect day, the afternoon ended with vibrant traditional Greek music and dancing that had everyone laughing, moving, and feeling like part of the family. Stamos and Soto made the entire day incredibly fun, educational and entertaining. This is so much more than a cooking class, this was a slow progression to a true celebration of Naxian culture and community. If you want to connect deeply with the culture of the island and eat the best meal of your vacation, this experience is a must-do!

The visit to the Saint Anna Winery was one of the best experiences of our trip to Naxos. Located just a short and scenic drive from Naxos Town, this estate is a hidden gem. Our tour guide, Emanuel, brought the estate to life with his knowledge of Oenology, warm hospitality, and passion for the craft. He even allowed us to enter the historic and stunning 9th-century Byzantine chapel of Agia Anna right on the property. The wine tasting itself was a selection of distinct Cycladic wines, perfectly paired with fresh, organic local bites. And learning about each grape’s journey from vine to bottle only enhanced the appreciation of every sip. We loved their sweet red wine so much that we purchased one to enjoy for the remainder of our time in Naxos. Best thing in Naxos!

The best way to spend a day in Naxos!! We had such an amazing time kayaking. Our guides, Manolis, Noah and Christina, were super friendly, passionate and knowledgeable. They really made it the best experience possible and answered all questions. The food was absolutely delicious, best Greek salad we have had. They had great equipment, everyone got a hat, water shirt, swimming shoes, snorkling gear and a dry bag. I have done a lot of kayak trips with guides, and they do not compare to this.

From start to finish this experience was phenomenal, we highly recommend this experience if you’re on Naxos, it’s definitely a must. We got to know different islands we otherwise would have missed. On our first night in...

On our first night in Naxos we booked this high recommend food walking tour which was INCREDIBLE. We got to wander and explore the charming old town while making many stops along the way to taste the local delicacies including wine and cheese, a special olive oil tasting, sweet treats and bread, the local liquor of Kitron, as well as an amazing meal to finish alongside our new friends that we made in our group walking tour. We had the most incredible host Maria who was so knowledgeable about the food as well as the island and has years of experience cooking herself, even sharing her cookbook! It was an experience we will never forget and truly a great introduction to the island and food scene giving us many ideas to return to along the remainder of the time on the island. Book it! Highly recommend.

Interesting tour with a great guide

Rula our tour guide and George our driver were AWESOME! Rula was so knowledgeable about not only the history of Naxos but also Greek history and mythology. She was a wonderful historian to get to know and answered all our questions. George was a very safe driver and kept the AC on full blast during the hot Greek day!! Each stop was very unique and easy to walk to once we got off the sprinter bus. The whole tour was about 4 hours, an efficient way to hit all the hot spots in Naxos if you are crunched for time (we were only there for the day) and after the tour ended we got to view the temple of Apollo and get a bite to eat. I would highly recommend this half day tour and request Rula and George again!!!
