Pretty easy walk. Lots of history and the guide conveyed it well. It was very, very windy. But all and all, still a great day.
Elizabeth, was knowledgeable and patient. The tour was conducted a amble with breaks for toilet and instagram shots of icon vistas.
I asked a heap of questions, if Liz couldnt answer she had call a friend life line.
Lots of panaramic opportunities and recommendations for travel, history sites and dinning options to enjoy full naxosbexperience.
We enjoyed the Naxos Sunset Walking tour immensely. Leo is an excellent tour guide - very knowledgeable about ancient Greek history, the historic sites in Naxos, as well as current cultural highlights of Naxos, including shopping and cuisine. Leo made the tour very fun for my five daughters (aged 21-31), tailoring parts of the tour to things of interest to their age-group/generation, and allowed sufficient time for all of the pictures that they wanted to take. At several points throughout the tour, Leo took a group pix of our family. A very fun and educational tour that I highly recommend.
We really enjoyed the walking tour of the old Town of Naxos. Elizabeth the tour guide was very authentic as she is from a small town on the island. Her passion for the history and culture of the island really came through which amplified our experience. Going at sunset time was beautiful with the light on the castle and temple. We completed the tour with dinner in town.
It was this guide’s first walking tour, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. She lacked historical context and depth of knowledge, which made the tour feel incomplete and less engaging than expected.
Guide was fantastic and able to make arrangements to meet me at a later time since stuck on other tour. Informative and passionate about the information. The sunset was beautiful magical and something I’ll never forget.

Effie was a great guide explaining the history of the Castle and Portola, which was crowded but beautiful at sunset. If you are driving make sure to plan extra time to find parking in Chora, which can be very hard. We were late but able to catch up with our group after contacting the tour operator.
Such an educational experience! Gina was wonderful and so knowledgeable. She made sure we saw all of the key areas of old and new Naxos, the Venetian castle, and helped us navigate the crowds at the temple of Apollo. Would definitely recommend!
Gina was our guide. We were there during the heat wave and so the tour was a bit uncomfortable at the start. At first, we weren't really sure it was going to go well, but within a few minutes, we really were happy we booked the tour. Gina was friendly and informative as we walked through the old town and to the top to the castle. We would have never have found any of this without her. The sunset at Portara was amazing. The place is packed everyday at sunset, but it really didn't take away our enjoyment of being there. Highly recommend for anyone heading to Naxos for the first time!

So much history in Naxos. This is a great way to learn about it and navigate the old town corridors.
Great afternoon with Gina as our tour guide. Gina was knowledgeable and fun. I enjoyed the history of the place and fun facts. Well worth it!
Knowledgeable guide and small group was perfect. Can get crowded at Apollos Temple so photos harder. Good mini tour through history. In town so close to dinner spots after tour.
We learned so much, and our 8 year old twins were very engaged, as well. They loved hearing about Greek mythology, Naxos culture, etc. Just be sure you’re ready to walk!
Everything was perfect : chora old city and its churches, the castle without forgetting the greek mythology present in all steps.
Our guide brought a lot to the visit stimulating our interest and interacting with each of us.
This is an excellent walking tour of the highlights of Naxos Town. You start at the southern tip by the Town Hall, wind your way through the maze-like streets and castle, and finish at the Apollo Gate at sunset.
A lot of interesting stops are fit into the 2hr walk, so we felt that we got the full scope of the town.
Our guide Georgina was friendly, informative, great with our children, and kept us in the shade and breezy areas to avoid the heat. She gave a great overview of the Greek mythology and history of the town/sites.
