Transport: Ornos Bay is about two miles from Mykonos Town, so plan a ride. The company arranged a private round-trip transfer for €120, but taxis and rideshares are scarce on Mykonos, and the driver was on time both ways and pointed out the windmills and viewpoints on the way back. The day: We booked the 5-hour morning private cruise with my DH and MIL who uses a wheelchair. The three-person crew was warm, funny and attentive. We're boat owners from the Pacific Northwest (US/Canada), so we swapped boating stories and compared notes on navigation, wind, and tides. They couldn't believe our 15-foot tide swings, since theirs are around a foot. We skipped Delos and Rhenia and cruised the quiet south and east bays, anchoring twice to swim. The 78°F water was brisk at first, but lovely on a warm sunny day. The hand-held water scooters and noodles were great fun. Lunch was a huge, fresh Greek spread with shrimp, calamari, lemon-herb chicken and tzatziki, and every dish was excellent. After eating, we relaxed on the boat looking over the water and cliffside homes around the bay. It was relaxing. The catamaran was clean and in great shape, with a covered aft table, towels, a cabin and head for our things, and sunpads up front. Accessibility: The listing says wheelchair accessible, but boarding is by tender. You go down concrete steps to a wooden platform, into a dinghy, then up onto the boat. My mother-in-law walks with assistance, and the crew was wonderful, sitting beside her on the ride out and storing her folded wheelchair. If steps are a problem, ask the operator first. Highly recommend.
