What are people saying about Marseille

Highly Recommended - A super way to see Marseille.
An excellent experience. Bikes well maintained, area travelled interesting and the narrative provided by Phillip our tour guide was excellent. Highly recommended, especially if you need a little exercise. I've done many e-bike tours around the world, and this was definitely in the top 5%.

The food is great, and our guide Eric was great! He provided a lot of information about the history of the city and why we went to each stop. He seriously did a great job and I’d highly recommend this tour! It’s well worth the price and you get to see so much of the city

We were traveling on a Mediterranean cruise and decided to try an e-bike tour in Marseille. We first tried with the cruise line excursion but it was full, fortunately. We went with Fada Bike rentals instead and couldn’t have been more impressed. From the simple pickup at the cruise port to the amazing bike shop, you could tell the experience was authentic. Starting out we were able to meet the owner, his wife and their dog Aster who were immediately kind and helped to make us feel comfortable. Our guide, Hank, was impressive on his historical knowledge of the town and how Marseille became what it is today. He was kind to our teenage kids in tow and help lead them through the busy streets. Would definitely recommend this company to other travelers.

Great day
We had so much fun on oure-bike tour. It was great to see both the city and the national park. An unexpected highlight of my particular tour date was stopping at a local bakery for lunch (you buy your own food). I will be dreaming about that bakery for a while. I was only in town for own day because I was on a cruise ship, but I would definitely still pick that outting for my day in Marseille if given the option again.

Sitting between Provence and the French Riviera with regional natural parks and UNESCO World Heritage Sites right on its doorstep, Marseille provides day-trippers with plenty of options. Quintessential day trips from Marseille include the picturesque villages and rolling vineyards of Provence—take a summer tour to see the ubiquitous lavender fields in bloom—and the glamorous beach towns of the French Riviera and Monaco. Nature lovers can also hike, kayak, or bike around Calanques National Park, while history buffs can marvel over medieval Avignon and Roman Arles, and wine lovers can sip award-winning red wines in Chateauneuf-du-Pape.
