The ride on Lake Como and the views of the mountains and surrounding towns and villas are absolutely stunning. Villa del Balbianello in itself is an incredible place. Our guard Ricardo was a wealth of information and very helpful. I would recommend staying in Como if doing this tour. We started and finished our day in Milan and it was a very long day.

We had booked the exclusive private tour of Lake Como, Villa Balbianello and Bellagio, and sadly the weather on the day was so unpredictable that the full exclusive experience wasn’t able to go ahead. But honestly, what could have been a really disappointing situation turned into one of the highlights of our trip, entirely because of how exceptional the operator and team were from start to finish. The communication was outstanding. The night before, we received a thoughtful and detailed email explaining the weather situation, walking us through exactly what was happening, what our options were, and what they recommended. They had thought through every scenario and wanted to make sure we felt informed and looked after. The morning of the tour, they were back in touch promptly with a clear update and offered us an alternative arrangement that still meant we got to see everything we had come for. Nothing felt rushed, nothing felt like a downgrade, it genuinely felt like they were committed to making sure we didn’t miss out. What really stood out was that they proactively refunded us to compensate for the change, without us having to ask, request, or chase anything. In a world where you so often have to fight for fairness when things don’t go to plan, this kind of integrity is incredibly rare and it made an enormous impression on us. It tells you everything about how this operator runs their business and how much they value their guests. Our guide was absolutely lovely, warm, knowledgeable, genuinely passionate about the area, and so helpful with every question we had. You could tell they really cared about us having a wonderful day, not just ticking off the itinerary. The location chosen for lunch was brilliant: the setting was beautiful, the service was efficient and welcoming, and the food was honestly amazing. It was the kind of meal that becomes a memory in itself. Villa Balbianello and Bellagio more than lived up to their reputations, both are extraordinary, and seeing them with knowledgeable guides who could bring the history, the architecture and the local stories to life made the experience so much richer than it would have been on our own. All in all, we could not have been more grateful to have experienced Lake Como, Villa Balbianello and Bellagio with these experts. The fact that the weather worked against us and we still came away feeling completely looked after, well fed, beautifully guided and genuinely delighted speaks volumes about the quality of this operation. If you’re considering booking with them, do it. And trust that even if things don’t go entirely to plan, you’ll be in the very best hands. Thank you so much for a truly memorable day.

From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us warmly and shared fascinating insights about Como and its rich history, making the experience both engaging and informative. I was traveling with my 72-year-old mother, who had some difficulty with the steep walk up to Villa del Balbianello. Ricardo went above and beyond to ensure she was comfortable—he checked in frequently, offered encouragement, and made sure she felt supported every step of the way. Villa del Balbianello is truly breathtaking. The villa’s elegant architectural design, lush terraced gardens, and breathtaking lake views make it a standout highlight of the experience. Walking through the grounds, you can appreciate both its historical significance and its reputation as one of the most iconic and scenic locations on the lake. The visit to Bellagio was equally memorable. Bellagio is incredibly charming, with its cobblestone streets, vibrant flowers, and stunning waterfront views. Ricardo provided insightful context about the town’s history, culture, and local highlights, which made exploring it even more meaningful. We enjoyed lunch together as a group at La Punta which gave us the opportunity to get to know one another in our small group of seven. The tour itself was beautifully organized, showcasing the best of Lake Como—from its natural beauty to its cultural richness. At the end of the day, Ricardo kindly arranged a taxi for us and waited until it arrived, ensuring we returned safely to our hotel. This level of care and attention truly set him apart. Ricardo not only created a welcoming environment for the group but also made sure everyone was well-informed throughout the tour. My mom and I left with a deeper appreciation for the beauty, history, and charm of the region. I highly recommend this tour and Ricardo to anyone looking for a thoughtful, well-organized, and unforgettable experience.

Elena, our guide was so personable and knew so much about Bellagio, the Villa and all of the cute surrounding little towns on the lake. It was pouring rain and she managed to provide us the best tour. We loved the restaurant we went to for lunch. It was a hidden gem. Somewhere we would not have found on our own.
