Best boat tour to Cinque Terre—hands down

Best day of our entire cruise—hands down. Our boat tour along Cinque Terre with Captain Giacomo and Rossella was absolutely incredible. It was a truly small group, which made it so comfortable, and they went out of their way to make every guest feel welcome and taken care of. Communication before and during the trip was excellent—it all felt effortless and relaxed. We departed from La Spezia and cruised along the coast, stopping in Portovenere and Monesteroli before heading into the five towns—Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza, and Monterosso al Mare. Seeing them from the water was just unreal. We stopped near Guvano Beach for a swim, spent a couple of hours in Monterosso enjoying gelato, and had a delicious lunch on the boat prepared by our hosts. Along the way, we saw the stunning black and gold marble cliffs and even got up close to historic military sites and a castle. On the way back, we just relaxed and soaked in the views—it doesn’t get better than that. Truly unforgettable. You must do this!!! 🇮🇹🌊⛵✨

She has a great personality; we learned a lot; and she worked very hard serving us a sit-down meal following our cooking. We loved the privilege of being in her home, and it was a joy to to spend an evening with her!

Fabulous tour!

Relaxing, beautiful scenery and everyone is looked after! From drinks to towels you need for nothing. The tour guides were knowledgeable and gave time for pictures to be taken all the way. Food was delicious though simple! Snorkelling was delightful, they picked a great spot! Really loved the wildlife too!

A La Spezia Must Do!!!

My family and were here for a cruise and had an incredible day with Marco and Laura. The team was highly accommodating (ensuring we would make it back to our ship on time), extremely knowledgeable and unbelievably kind. The lunch we had was delicious and spending the day on the water with great company was nothing short of incredible. In addition to our lunch, we had morning snacks, mid-afternoon bites and even a dessert! Not to mention the Italian wine was flowing. What a great day—thank you to the team and especially Marco and Laura!

Fun on the water - great way to cool off on a hot day

This was a memorable trip on a RIB with our friendly and knowledgeable guide Nick. As well as a tour around the islands and outside caves, there was time for a swim off the boat for 10 minutes. Despite what other reviews have said, it was so easy to find the meet up on the promenade. Portovenere was great though could have done with more time as an hour was too short by the time you get your bearings. Time enough for drink or ice cream there but not food. Such fun on a hot day.

This was the best thing we did in cinque terra!! Matteo and Dimitri did an amazing job. We had a lovely day on the boat, great drinks and snacks, and learned some history about the different villages. We felt like we got a great layout of the area. Thank you for a wonderful time!! We had a great tour with Marta. She was on time and ready with umbrellas for our rainy arrival. She was very thorough in her explanation of the sights we were seeing during our drives to both Florence and Pisa. She even took us on a more scenic drive through the Tuscan countryside to get us into Florence. She gave us a great blend of free time to explore with a list of places to see, recommended a great restaurant for lunch and even stopped for gelato on our way back, all while getting us back to our ship in plenty of time. We appreciated Marta’s kindness and professionalism throughout our tour.

He made the long drive fly by with his friendly personality and insightful commentary. His vehicle was immaculate, comfortable, and perfectly cool on a hot summer day—exactly what we needed. In Florence, we were introduced to our walking guide, Elisa, who brought the city’s rich history and art to life with depth and passion. She offered fascinating insights, particularly about Michelangelo and the statue of David, giving us a new level of appreciation. Elisa was also incredibly thoughtful—she adjusted the pace to suit our group, helped us navigate through the crowds with ease, and used her guide pass to help us skip the long museum lines. Her recommendations for shopping and lunch were spot-on and made our visit feel even more special. Veronica was a wonderful...

Veronica was a wonderful guide. She met us at the train station in La Spezia, and walked us through how to purchase our train tickets for the day. We stopped in 3 different towns, with the option to visit a 4th or 5th on our own at the end of the tour. She provided us with free time in each town, and walked us through purchasing our ferry tickets, too. Without Veronica, we would have probably been able to find our way into each town, but would not have learned any of the history and would have missed out on a lot. We appreciated having her as our guide. The small group option (there were 3 of us, and another family of 3), meant it was easy to follow and hear her without feeling lost or like you were just following a big group from place to place. I would definitely use her services again in the future.

Highly Recommended Tour

Our guide, Sara, was amazing! She had a fun personality and had so much information. She picked us up at the port and then we went to Pisa where she told us the best spot to get pictures of the tower. From here we went Lucca where she showed us around and left us to shop. After meeting back up we went to a winery she recommended- which turned out to be the highlight of our entire trip! We had the beautiful place to ourselves, a private tour, and the absolute most amazing food! It was essentially a perfect day and we are so happy we took this tour. We saw beautiful places and had so much fun while doing it!
