After pickup from La Fortuna in a minivan, head to the Arenal Hanging Bridges—two miles (3.2 kilometers) of raised walking platforms designed for viewing wildlife in the rainforest canopy and below. After walking the bridges, visit La Fortuna Waterfall, swim in the La Fortuna River, and have a restaurant lunch before returning to La Fortuna.

Embrace your inner jungle explorer by venturing into the lush rainforest around Arenal Volcano on an exhilarating horseback ride from La Fortuna.  There you will ride for around 45 minutes to get to Pino Blanco Lookout, where you will leave the horse to start a hike for around 20 minutes going down 500 steps to arrive at the majestic La Fortuna Waterfall. Once there, you will have about 40 minutes to swing, take pictures, or just relax. After that, we will go back, and at the end, you will enjoy some fruits.

Full day in Arenal Start the day at 7.00 am Driving for 3 hours all the way to La Fortuna area to walk through the Hanging Bridges, then to walk at the Arenal National Park, or the La Fortuna Water Falls, having lunch in between this activities, last, kick back at the Hot Springs. This is a full day activity. We start visiting the hanging bridges from Mistico Park to explore the wonderful rain forest through the incredible bridges suspended in the canopy forest. After around two hours walking and seeing different wildlife, we will drive to the next spot, the Arenal Volcano. Here the walk is focused in the natural history of this incredible natural beauty. We will visit the lava flows of the eruption of 1968 located in El Silencio Park where we'll receive information related to the volcano´s history and the whole activity it had during many years. Here we'll be walking around 1.5 hour. Then, we'll visit one of the most beautiful attractions in La Fortuna, the incredible La Fortuna Waterfall. This is the biggest waterfall in the area, where the visitor has the opportunity of splash in the refreshing water of La Fortuna River (if the weather conditions are optimal). Around 500 stairs to the bottom of the river are waiting for you to live this incredible experience.
