Quick taste of alps from zurich
Quick stop in Zurich could have been 15 min longer. We went to Engelberg only. Monastery great for fondue. Plenty of time for strolling around small town and shops. We were only 2 not to go up to Mt Titlis. Weather was cold late March with snow night before. Didn’t have time for additional 2.5 hours for Grendewald, Interlaken. Still 8 hours total but nice quick escape from Zurich while waiting for Basel cruise

The cable car trip to the...
The cable car trip to the top of Mt. Titlis was amazing and worth the time and effort to get there. The tour guide Carsten was informative and always on top of where the group was to ensure everyone had the best experience. We highly recommend this adventure.

Create some memories to last a lifetime!!!
This was amazing!!!! Soooo much fun and so worth it! My only advice would be to reach out to them before booking any train/transportation as they vary where they fly from. There was a review on here that gave instructions on the trains to get to Engelberg so I followed that… only to be picked up in Lucerne (where I was staying).

Engelberg
  • Engelberg’s small size makes it easy to get around the town on foot.

  • Wear comfortable shoes and pack warm clothing, if you plan on exploring the mountains—the weather can be cool and windy, even in the summer.

  • Attractions, including the Titlis cable car and Engelberg monastery, are wheelchair accessible.
