This is an interesting tour that gives the flavour of Pushkar. Our guide was very knowledgeable, but my ears struggled to hear all the information he was sharing with us. Remember that shoes must be removed before entering temples.
At the end of the tour we were left to walk the remainder of the way back to the start by ourselves (this wasn't explained at the outset).
This is a fantastic tour that i definitely recommend to learn all about the spiritual history of Pushkar and India in general. The tour guide Manish is a fantastic person who will show you the best highlights of the town. This has been my highlight of India.
Shakil did a great job with the tour, driving from Jaipur to Pushkar and keeping safe. Tour is a great way to see another place from Jaipur and take a day trip out of the city.
We loved the tour of the temples and shrines of Pushkar with Manish, who had an amazing level of historical knowledge to share. Lovely sunset view and fire ceremony. One of the best tours we’ve done. Thank you 🙏
We had the best 3 days with Sabir and Yunus!
Sabir shared so much of his knowledge about India with us, which truly allowed us to understand the sights even more. He was kind, patient and made us feel very welcome. I could tell that he is very passionate about his job!
Yunus was an amazing driver around busy Jaipur and surrounding areas and always made sure that we had enough water!
Thank you to you both, I would recommend this experience to anyone!
This is tour for those particular of visiting the only temple for Brahma and famous Darga in Ajmer. We were provided with a good driver Mr. Sachin. Unfortunately the vehicle provided was in shambles and the road was even worse. Inspire of these handicaps Mr. Sachin managed to drop us at Jaipur after 11h of rather gruelling journey. I do not recommend this tour. Hope the local vendor of Viator and Viator listen to this feed back and make amends. Not worthy of the price charged!
The whole trip was seamless and well worth doing. The driver Noordeen was very pleasant, always attentive and his English was very good. He followed us from the various events and was on hand when necessary. The guide was Manish who was excellent as he was local was very passionate and informative, we enjoyed our time together. I would really recommend this tour as it has varied experiences.
My partner Iain and I had an absolutely wonderful experience on our private day trip to Pushkar from Jaipur. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish — comfortable transport from our hotel pickup, perfect pacing, and excellent organisation. Our driver, Malik, was punctual, kind, and incredibly professional. When he noticed I’d forgotten my sunglasses before heading out into the desert, he was honest enough to let me know the ones sold in the market wouldn’t offer real protection and kindly took us to a reputable local store to buy proper ones — such a thoughtful gesture that really stood out.
In Pushkar, our local guide Darshan was exceptional. Friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the town, he shared wonderful stories about the Brahma Temple, Pushkar Lake, and the town’s unique spiritual heritage. It made the whole experience so much richer and more engaging.
We also loved the camel ride, which was such a fun and memorable part of the day — especially with our camel, Salman, who quickly became a favourite part of the experience. We had plenty of laughs and great photo moments, and it added a sense of adventure to an already special trip.
We loved having the flexibility to explore at our own pace, soak in the atmosphere, and finish the day with a perfect cup of chai before heading back. This tour offered the perfect balance of comfort, authenticity, and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended for couples or anyone wanting to see the real Pushkar in a meaningful and relaxed way.
We had a wonderful and informative afternoon with a knowledgeable and interesting guide who took us around Pushkar on this walking tour. Highly recommend.
The driver was nice and he was there ahead of time. The trip was smooth and it is worth seeing Pushkar. The provider of the activity should be more proactive and request drop off location to avoid misunderstanding during the trip and maybe have car with functional seatbelt

Wear sunscreen and comfortable shoes; Pushkar is sunny most of the time and a good part of the town is pedestrian-only.
Most Pushkar temples are not open to foreigners or non-Hindus.
Pushkar’s dusty roads and many steps make it difficult to navigate with a wheelchair.
Beware of “special lassis” in restaurants; they may contain a legal cannabis-based mixture known as bhang, which has psychedelic effects.
Some priests wait by the lake here and try to get unsuspecting tourists to pay for rituals. If someone clad in white offers you a flower to throw into the lake, you may wish to decline.
