Terrific tour of Hiroshima
Communication was excellent. Operator was very responsive to communications about our cruise ship arrival and Japanese customs. Our guide Kaz was extremely knowledgeable about the entire Hiroshima history/peace park/atomic dome/ etc. Really a bucket list item for me. Very sobering and disturbing at times but an absolute must see

This tour included the Peace museum, the Peace Park, making paper cranes , and lunch at the end. Our guide was very informative and shared his family history with us - he is a second generation survivor. The museum exhibits are harrowing and disturbing but very important to see. Modern day Hiroshima is a vibrant and green city.

Wonderful Hiroshima
A great intro to the Peace Museum and the surrounding area. Saki was a terrific guide. We had a traditional lunch at the end on top of the tower overlooking the city. A perfect day!
Just a note….our taxi took us to the wrong meet up point but the tour communicated with us and we were able to catch them at the museum. Really appreciated that they didn’t give up on us!

Excellent
Our guide was amazing. She took the time to explain her history and the history of Hiroshima which was really important to us to hear from an American perspective. The tour itself has a good deal of walking so wear appropriate shoes. She took us to all of the sites that were impacted and the museum. I would highly recommend that tour to really understand what happened on this fateful day in 1945 and its impact on Japan

Excellent tour and tour guide
The tour was absolutely incredible. We had Hika as our tour guide, and he is a second-generation atomic bomb survivor. It was incredibly moving to hear about his personal connection to the event and to learn from someone with such deep knowledge and understanding of Hiroshima’s history.
He treated everyone with kindness and respect and thoughtfully answered all of our questions. The itinerary was excellent, and Hika’s guidance made the experience even more meaningful.
I can’t recommend this tour enough. It was incredibly well organized, educational, and one of the most impactful experiences of our trip.

This tour is special!
Out guide, Hika, is a second generation survivor of the A Bomb. This tour ended up being a private tour and Hika made sure we saw all of the important landmarks and monuments. He was able to connect the events with his own experiences and family history as well. This tour was a good blend of walking tour of monuments with some unstructured time in the museum. We also went to a rooftop observation deck and learned how to make an origami crane, a symbol of peace. We were able to drop our cranes into a community art exhibit you can see on the outside of the building. The theme was Peace and passing on the important story of Hiroshima to others so it is not repeated. Hika then accompanied us for a delicious lunch where he told us more about his lived experience. Don’t miss this!

Incredible Experience
This was an excellent and sobering tour filled with history of Hiroshima and the impact of Nuclear weapons on not just the people of Hiroshima and Japan but all of humanity. Yuji is a Hiroshima native and was an excellent tour guide sharing great insights about the city, culture and perspective on the event and aftermath of 8.6 at 8:15am. I would highly recommend everyone take this tour to gain valuable insights and perspectives that you will carry for the entirety of your life. 100% highly recommend.

Hiroshima Museum, Peace Park and Walking Tour
We weren't sure how big the tour group would be and were so amazed when we were the only people! We had a private tour with Hiki. His family was directly affected by the bomb at Hiroshima so had an unique insight into the impact of that time period. He was wonderful with his explanations of the importance of the places and sights that we say but also gave us time and space to go at our own pace in the museum areas. We went up a tower and made paper cranes and let them fly down into a viewing area. Was really powerful to see. Had a delicious lunch at the end of the tour. Highly recommend.
