An absolute highlight and a perfect tour and guide!
We had such an amazing time on this tour, and Stavros was without doubt one of the best guides we’ve ever encountered on a tour like this. He made sure we had a perfect time, and he went well out of his way to accommodate my family and the other family paired with us. Exceptional all around and we wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend this tour and anything this tour company puts together. Well worth it!! Thanks Stavros!

Most amazing tour with the most knowledgeable guide
We spent our time with Areti, who was the most amazing person and guide! Both winery's were absolutely amazing, from wine to food we both didn't want the moment to end. If you come to Crete as a couple you need to book this tour with Areti or you are simply missing out.

5 star day
5 stars for a 5 star day! Olga and Yannis were both great and the food Olga made while we were docked at Dia was some of the best we've had on our 3 week trip! You could snorkel or paddle board if you wanted, the water was too cold for this Arizona girl so I stayed on the boat to sunbathe. Great day trip to see more beautiful parts of Greece!

Absolutely Incredible Tour!
This was single handedly the most fantastic tour I’ve ever been on. Our tour guide and driver Daryl was just incredible. He’s personable, funny, a great driver, and brought us to the best parts of Crete that I never would have been able to see or get to on my own. He taught me so much about Crete I never would have known either. He drove us to some of the highest mountaintops on the island, taking the most remote roads that I never would have been able to navigate or drive on myself. My group and I got to see some of the best hidden Greek mountain towns and see the most incredible landscapes I’ve ever seen in my life. I really wanted to get to know the local culture coming to Crete, and that’s exactly what Daryl brought us to. Our group was 4 couples as well and he happily helped take photos of all of us with our partners in front of the landscape views. The lunch at the local Taverna was delicious as well. This is the best experience you can get of Crete if you’re not sure where to go (like me) but you want to see those hidden gems and meet local people. Highly recommend!! Only note - the mountain roads get pretty bumpy but as someone who gets carsick very easily I felt fine the whole time.

A wonderful exploration of Crete, including lesser known gems!
A great day of exploration! A lot was packed into the day, and even though we did not have the chance to visit the cave as it was under restoration, we were all contacted in advance to ask if we wanted to book another day or be refunded if that part of the trip was important, but we opted to still go. That way, I feel that the trip was much more evenly spaced out. We still got a great story about Zeus and Greek Gods on the trip up the mountains, and the views/places we saw up the Lasthiti Plateau with the windmills were gorgeous! The small village Krasi where the Plane Tree is was very lovely too, as was the Eco Park where we bought one of the unique pots made in their very own pottery studio. The Olive Oil Farm was great too, and their buffet does some amazing chips cooked in the oil they sell. We even got to visit a little known monastery which was very quaint and calm.
The highlight was certainly Knossos Palace and the surrounding ruins. It's in a beautiful spot, plenty of shaded areas for hot days, and peacocks everywhere. It's quite fascinating to learn how it was found, what was done to restore it, and if you're really keen to see the original alfresco sections, they are in the Archaeological Museum in Heraklion due to weather risks, as it's all open air.
From memory, I believe our guide was Rula, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our driver George even drove us all the way back to our resort in Sisi, which can be a pain for the bigger coaches. Just all in all, it was a great day, and for us Brits who burn easily, I would recommending taking plenty of water, a hat, and decent walking shoes, otherwise you'll be in a spot of bother.

Awesome scenery and great people.
A great way to see Crete! Beautiful scenery. Our guides were awesome. My 26 yr old daughter and I each got our own quad and wished in hindsight we would have shared one. Our thumbs got tired! Chicken skewer lunch with tomatoes/cukes and fries were also served. Definitely would recommend!

My boyfriend and I had an...
My boyfriend and I had an unforgettable wine tasting experience in Crete with Pierre as our guide. From the moment the tour began, Pierre made us feel welcomed and immersed in the local culture. His knowledge of wine was incredible, but what truly made the experience special was how passionately he shared the history, traditions, and stories of Crete along the way.
Every winery we visited felt thoughtfully chosen, and Pierre created such a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the day. We learned so much about the wines, the region, and the people behind them, while also getting to enjoy breathtaking scenery and amazing hospitality.
This was far more than just a wine tasting — it was a memorable cultural experience that I will never forget. If you’re visiting Crete and want something authentic, personal, and truly special, I cannot recommend Pierre highly enough.

Wonderful Overview of Crete
Our guide, APO, did an absolutely fabulous job today. Not only did he pick us up at a different location due to a hotel cancellation, but he treated us like family for the day. We visited an olive oil factory and received an educational tour of how olive oil was made in the past and today.
We drove into the mountainside and plateau region. We experienced " Greek Starbucks" coffee in a village, learned about culture and customs. Explored windmills, town wells, historic trees, learned about farming and plant life. Tasted fresh goat cheese and yogurt. A traditional wood stove cooked Greek lunch hit the spot- with a nip of raki to follow. We finished up with a trip to Knossos Palace. APO drove safely, answered all of our questions and went above and beyond to accommodate everyone! I highly recommend him as a tour guide and true gentleman. His friendly personality is infectious. This was one of the best ways to begin our Cretan vacation.

We had an amazing time...
We had an amazing time with our guide/ Driver Mike. He took the time to explain everything from Ancient Greek history to the different plants and vegetation in each region. Allowed us to take our time to enjoy and explore through out the day.
Thanks James and Mereta.

Wonderful day on the water!
What a wonderful day on the water! The captains were delightful, very kind and attentive, warm and friendly. There were 12 passengers which seemed too many at first but we were then aloud to spread out and sit on the front deck of the boat which was PERFECT! The blue water was beautiful and the lunch was superb! Dia Island wasn’t much to see, a place to drop anchor and be protected from the wind. We had a blast swimming, snorkeling and SUPing around. Thank you Alex and Vascili for a wonderful day!

Great day well worth doing
Was a full day with 3 main stops. There is plenty time at each place to enjoy the areas and have quick drink if you want. The towns are very pretty and Spinalonga very interesting. It is €20 extra to get into Spinolonga but you can just sit and enjoy view of port or paddle if you don't want to walk round. If you want to jump of boat into water for swim on way back ensure you already have swim wear on. Transfers were great and local. All staff were friendly and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our day. Totally recommended

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Crete’s capital and largest city, Heraklion, sits not far from the center of the island’s north coast, meaning you can reach anywhere in Crete on a day trip—while ferries will bring you as far afield as Santorini. Some of the top Heraklion day trips include sailing to uninhabited Dia Island, off-road safaris through villages and olive groves, hiking the 10-mile (16-kilometer) Samaria Gorge, and heading west to Chania Old Town or pink-tinted Elafonisi Beach. From the Lassithi Plateau windmills to the fortress isle of Spinalonga, Heraklion makes the perfect base.
