Best adventure day ever!

Booked a full-day kayaking tour down the Colorado River with Adventure Child for my 57th birthday on Tuesday, March 10th, 2026, and could not have had a better time! Our tour guide, Shawn Lewis, was absolutely amazing! He was so fun to hang out with for the entire day and showed us some out-of-the-way places that most people rarely get to see. Shawn was very knowledgeable of the area and definitely went the extra mile to make sure my birthday was a day I'll never forget! We hung out at several popular hot springs (and some that most never see), and several waterfalls (also many never see), rope-climbed rocks, and explored a few caves as well. Had a great lunch and snacks on the beach, which Shawn provided, and we just took our time enjoying every moment. You can genuinely tell that Shawn loves his job! And I can see why! The weather was perfect, and as the sun began to set, we stopped at a campsite where we met up with another camper, Castro, who hooked us up with a warm campfire, an extra sweatshirt, and a spare fuel canister to cook our dinner. Shawn whipped up some authentic Japanese ramen noodles for dinner! After that, we had about another 4 miles of kayaking down the river under the stars. It was a perfect ending to an incredible adventure! Shawn also took hundreds of pics and videos throughout the day to capture all of the highlights! And he didn't waste a moment to remind me that it was my birthday! LOL! I definitely gained a lifelong friend and priceless memories! I'm already looking forward to another adventure in the near future! Thanks so much to Adventure Child and Shawn Lewis for a birthday I'll never forget! I highly recommend this experience for anyone seeking to unplug and escape the daily grind for an amazing time!

Well Worth It

This experience is a very long day but well worth it. A lot of ground is covered with lots to see. Pick up and drop off was seamless and plenty of food and toilet stops along the way. If you haven't seen any of the sites listed and only have a short stay in Las Vegas, this is a great way to do.

From the moment we got on the water, Jared the tour guide is super relaxed and inviting. Jared, made the experience exceptional. He was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate, sharing funny stories while making everyone feel comfortable and taken care of. UNLIMITED SNACKS for the win lol. Because of him, the tour felt personal, and fun, and unforgettable. View of canyon was nice, unexpected mini hike to explore. Also, he took tons of pictures and let us borrow his waterproof bag. I can’t recommend this experience—or Jared—highly enough. PICK THIS TOUR!!!! Super thankful I last minute cancelled with another tour agency and decided to choose this one. We had an excellent experience with our guide, Queena. She was very patient and attentive, and when plans needed to be adjusted, she always prioritised our welfare and best interests. Queena was also highly informative, sharing insightful knowledge about the sights and ensuring that we gained a deeper understanding of the local culture. In addition, Aleena—our main point of contact from the start—was prompt, organised, and very supportive in arranging the tour. Her gentle reminders and the group chat helped us stay well-prepared and clearly informed about the day’s programme. I would strongly recommend them to anyone considering a day trip from Shanghai to nearby cities such as Hangzhou or Suzhou. Great tour, be careful...

Great tour, be careful with the timing and arrival. We arrived an hour early due to time zone differences but we were not able to reach out or check our booking details because Willow Beach lies in an area with no mobile network coverage. We started a little late due to this and were able to just catch the Emerald Cave lighting up in time (it was also shining low due to November) but our guide Paul made it work. Additionally, Paul was an awesome guide who provided us a lot of additional insight about the place and area, history etc. Even in November, the 85 °F were inviting us to take a swim during and after the tour which made us soak up the after-vibes of the tour experience to a maximum and made an overall awesome day. The insights Paul provided, made us want to come back for more exploration on our own or even attending the longer tour to the Hoover Dam.

Flexible pick up time and private transfer were amazing. We knew a lot when on the way to the tea plant. Kids were very exited to wear traditional clothe for tea picking and overall the process. It’s very hard to show for kids all the steps of tea production that they were interested and guide did it 100%. We’ve known that we can: not only drink tea, but even eat leaves from tea. And super bonus that price for this tour with English speaking guide was cheaper than for a group trip (from 10to 40 people) that made our experience ten times better)) thank you very much for the tour

Beautiful scenic trip

Beautiful experience rafting down the Colorado River. Esteban picked us up from our hotel on the strip and shared his knowledge of the area and was a lot of fun. Paul our raft tour guide was very informative pointing out different things along the Colorado river and the Hoover Dam. The tour was scenic, stopping in different areas to get out to explore a bit or dip in the river which I enjoyed. The lunch was great. A nice little cooler bag to take home with Hoover Dam logo was a nice touch. Overall a beautiful trip that was worth it.

Hoover dam kayak trip

Had an amazing time with some breath taking views. Our guide Kwame was great and knowledgeable of the history of the area and was very helpful during the hikes and climbs so we could complete them safely. Some of the spots during the hikes were a bit challenging with climbing the rocks with a rope but the challenge made it so much more fun and rewarding. Definitely was an awesome experience and will be recommending it to friends.

Great time!

I opted for the Shuttle Option, and was not disappointed! Our Guide/Driver Faith was professional, down to earth, and very friendly. Along the drive up to Willow Beach she provided some interesting facts about what we’re seeing (e.g Boulder City, trail heads, hot springs etc). It was reassuring to know she was Wildness First Aid certified and our first responder so, heaven forbid anything go wrong, we’d be safe in her hands. The overall trip was very enjoyable and easy to get launched, paddling and enjoying the lake. My personal favourite part was swimming in Lake Mead, and seeing the trail of surveyors from when the Hoover Dam location was being considered. Highly recommend this tour!! Lunch was great and snacks/water were plentiful during the excursion.
